After the yes, before the forever 💍

An afternoon spent documenting this beautiful season of their story, surrounded by the Cape Town coastline and a little bit of sunshine 🌊☀️

No big production. No perfectly choreographed moments. Just the couple, completely comfortable in each other’s company and enjoying this exciting chapter together.

This is what I love about engagement sessions. Creating photographs that feel personal to the couple while giving them something tangible to remember this season by 📸

A little pause between the ceremony and the celebrations 🤍

The creative session has always been one of my favourite parts of a wedding day. It’s a chance to step away from the beautiful chaos, slow things down and create something just for the two of them 📸

This time, the rain had other plans. 🌧️

What was meant to be an outdoor session became an indoor creative shoot at their hotel. A change of scenery, a little improvisation and a reminder that you don’t need everything to go to plan to create something beautiful 💍

Just the two of them, the quiet moments in between and a love that speaks for itself ♥️

Because beyond the details, the outfits and the celebrations, these are the photographs that bring you back to how it all felt 📸

And that’s what I’ll always love most about this part of the day ✨

Eastern Editorial - Isha (Part 2) ✨

Those who have followed my work know I thrive in natural light, but this editorial set in Leicester felt like something straight out of a movie 🎥

An editorial is more than the final images. It’s the coming together of artists, each bringing their own craft, vision and attention to detail. And this team brought it all 🚀

@jayinstachamp, thank you for pushing me outside my comfort zone. So glad you did 🙏🏼

PS. Stay till the end for @ishc.chauhan questioning what she got herself into 🫢😂

The Eastern Editorial (Part 1) ✨

This was more than just a shoot for me. A new country, a new environment but the same passion for photography and creating something meaningful 📸

Everyone who made this editorial shoot possible worked impeccably to bring these looks and the set itself to life 🚀 I’m honoured to have been a part of it.

Thank you to everyone who was so welcoming and a special thank you to @jayinstachamp for hosting me! 📸✨🤍

Some weddings you shoot, Some you belong to 🫶🏼

This Tamil ceremony in the Cape winelands was one I attended as family, not as the photographer, but the light under that floral mandap was impossible to leave undocumented 📸

What stayed with me most were the rituals themselves. The prayers before the sacred fire, the garlands exchanged as an offering to each other, the blessings sought from elders with folded hands and bowed heads. Every gesture carried generations of meaning and none of it was performed for a camera 🪔

There is a moment in every Nikkah where the room goes still before the vows begin 🕋

This was that moment ✨

Harsh directional light and deep shadow meant protecting detail in both highlight and shadow, relying on the lens for clean contrast rendering rather than dynamic range alone 📸

The drone caught the moment. The camera caught the vision 📸

As a photographer, I live for both the seconds nobody planned and the frames that stop everything. This is what it looks like when a couple just gets it 💍
