🚨 JUST BECAUSE YOU’RE WASHING YOUR LOCS DOESN’T MEAN THEY’RE GETTING CLEAN! 👀🔥 This client had his fishtail braids in for approximately 6 MONTHS! 😳 Now, he WAS washing his hair, but here’s the problem… When you leave styles like two-strand twists, barrel rolls, or fishtail braids in for extended periods, dirt, oils, and product buildup can accumulate in areas that aren’t being thoroughly cleaned. 💯 For this transformation, I had to: 🧼 TRIPLE WASH his locs to remove the buildup. 💦 Make sure his scalp and locs were thoroughly cleaned before styling. 🔄 Give him a fresh retwist. 🔥 Finish everything off with some CLEAN fishtail braids! You’ll be scared at first because you spent almost 7 years in a secure and autopilot environment, to free will and being your own boss. You’ll perfect caring for your natural hair to finding out you’re obsessed with all natural hair. Braids, locs, twist, trims, treatments. And you’ll finally go from doing hair in your living room, in your bathroom, in the kitchen, in the ship barbershop, in school, to YOUR OWN SPACE IN A SHOP. You did it girl.
