Ginger for the spring, it’s only right 🤎🧡 8RO + 8WC IS THE BEST FORMULATION I’VE DONE YET 😩 When I came up with “The Kevi Effect” I wanted the brand to mean so much more than just doing hair. I wanted it to invoke a sense of true pride in my work, not only for me but for my client. I wanted to embed the idea that if I did your hair, it meant more to me than just money; ya’ll are more to me than just a client. It’s an experience, an EFFECT! I want you to walk out feeling richer, more self-adoring, ready for whatever cuz that’s what good hair does! I hope every head I ever touch in my career feels blessed, just like I feel blessed to have had them in my chair 🧚🏽🫧 📍Paul Mitchell The School San Diego DM me for availability and questions! 🧚🏽 #fyp #locs #loctician #colorist #sandiego taken in Paul Mitchell The School San Diego by @thekevieffect

MY PICASSO! 🖼️ Full highlight, money piece, cut and blow out to the GODS. Sometimes imposter syndrome kicks in and I’m truly GAGGED at my progress in doing color, cuts and styling. I was truly infatuated with how this came out, I’m still in shock as if I’m not the one who did it. 😩 I will forever give flowers when they are due. The teachers that put hours into this masterpiece with me is my mentor @ashcreates_sd & the very talented @hairbymaceee , thank you so much. 🤍 Upward and onward, always 🧚 Booking link is in bio! 📍San Diego, CA #hairstylist #sandiegohairstylist #highlights #hair #balayage taken in Paul Mitchell The School San Diego by @thekevieffect

“Imposter Syndrome is a psychological experience where you persistently doubt your abilities, talents, or accomplishments and live with the fear of being exposed as a fraud, despite clear evidence that you are competent.” Despite CLEAR EVIDENCE. Don’t trick YOURSELF into thinking you not her/him. It’s a game your mind plays on you because you still hear faint echos of people that didn’t believe in you in the past. If no one else believes in you, always believe in yourself if NOTHING ELSE. We got this 🫀 #fyp #sundaymotivation #hairstylist #impostersyndrome #braider by @thekevieffect
