@santacruzskateboards just put out a really inspirational video about Tom Knox and it made me want to share these photos from that time period. At this time around early’92 I had just started my first year of community college where I was shooting, developing and printing my own photos for a class. I never went anywhere without either a photo camera or a video camera. For all of us kids from Lemoore (Le-morons), Tom was a god. We’d make the 30 minute drive out to Visalia maybe twice a month just hoping to catch a glimpse of him, Karma or the Paez bros. This was one of those weeks where we got to skate with all of them. It’s so sick to see the life Tom has made for himself after skateboarding. The story of the ex-pro ends in tragedy so often and it’s nice to feel some hope for once.
