This was a bucket list project for sure. Natas is one of my all time favorites and an absolute legend. So grateful to get to sit down with him and learn some of these backstories. Check the full video out on the @santacruzskateboards channel. Thanks @oscarputdowntheknife and big ups for the assistance @instapizzle 🫶🫶🫶 taken in Santa Monica, California by @thekillatapes

This was such a fun one! Shooting glow in the dark boards in a practically pitch dark environment was not as simple as I thought it would be. But I’m really proud of how these videos turned out. @strangerthingstv x @santacruzskateboards collection now live! Thanks @instapizzle @maurcoy and the whole team for getting in the weeds on this one and @rocketown for hosting us! by @thekillatapes

Was stoked to have @tomasta & @maurcoy come to visit me in Nashville for the last trip of the “MISPRINTS” video. Here’s part 1 of the little KillaTape I made of the trip. Check out “MISPRINTS”, as well as Toms “True Grit” documentary and the behind the scenes video of this trip, all playing on the @santacruzskateboards #YouTube channel. Thanks to everyone who has been tuning in and sharing in the stoke. #thankyouskateboarding taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @thekillatapes

Thinking about the vibe we were going for, and I think Maurio sums it up well in the last slide- “what the f&?!” This was a super fun project from a couple years ago that didn’t see the light of day till earlier this year. This was originally a Red Bull project were they sent us a VX1000 with a tape locked inside and no way to rewind the footage or play it back. One tape to get what you can. Some stuff beyond our control happened behind the scenes and after a long holding pattern, we ended up putting it out through the @santacruzskateboards channel. Shout out to @regularolelee for collabing on this with me again (as we did on No Rewind Vol 1), as well as @soc_shakes @strictly_fx for supplying the Pyrotechnics and @visualsbytyre for the BTS photos. Also a huge thank you @paulzitzer for letting us do this madness at @sprakskateboarding as well as @coreyhunterscottrosson for shooting BTS footage in the Nashville portion of the shoot. @tomasta @maurcoy @_devinflynn @jake_wooten and @emangrizzle1 all ripped it up while blindly believing in what surely seemed like an insane vision of a project. 😂 Hopefully it all made sense once the edit was complete. by @thekillatapes

Going through some old hard drives and found this gem that @louiebarletta and I made together years ago for @mobgrip which might be my first “acting” role as well! 😂 I think my stand out moment is the pipe waggle on “let me make a suggestion to ya”. Also a big shout out to @whalebonesworld for supplying the voice of Dad. Every time Louie and I got together on a project it was such a blast. Last year I celebrated 15 years at @nhs_inc so it’s been rad going down memory lane and seeing all the projects with all the amazing people I’ve been blessed to work with through the years. Hyped to keep it a rollin’! by @thekillatapes

Fun fact- @tomasta had to do this trick a second time because I messed up and didn’t hit record on the first one. I was sweating the whole time he was trying again, which is why when he landed it I curled my hand into a fist and was like “F—- Yeah”! Which worked perfectly for this transitional scene we wanted to build in to the video where someone’s hand turns in to the Screaming Hand. So it all worked out in the end! Thanks for being such a pro, Tom, and Happy Birthday!!! Also- this killer animation job is by @lilfuchs who did all the animations for Right To Exist and a bunch more rad stuff for us throughout the years. by @thekillatapes
