Top moment of a lifetime 🏰⚡️
I won a normie award this year @peoria_players_theatre
For my set design & painting Young Frankenstein this past January.

I wanna thank god for granting me gifts to share with the world, blessing me endlessly in this season of life.

To Steve Hausler the Director for believing in me for years. Trusting that if we leap (sometimes him throwing me head first) into imagination we can create anything.

To Howard Gorman & the techies without borders for making the impossible real. Giving me the base to build and laugh and learn the whole way

To the cast & crew who brought every scene earthside with their talent as I giggled with true joy in amazement.

To my family for the gift of life, the values of hardwork and appreciation of music. Especially my mama who always said I should be a set designer

To Love for being there for me. Seeing in me things I have yet to realize.

& the Peoria Players community for giving a little girl the place to dream and call Home

It takes a village to bring even one person to the stage. I am so grateful to be part of that magic.
If it plays in peoria it truly can play anywhere in the world. DONT DREAM IT BE IT !!

this show was exactly what i needed when i needed it

when i originally was cast in 9 to 5, i was excited to get to do a show about strong women with an amazing production team. throughout the process of putting this show together, i lost two of the strongest women in my life which made this entire show so much more meaningful to me. i was constantly reminded of the beauty and healing that comes from making art.

the cast and crew of this show truly made coming to rehearsal and he best part of my week. they made me laugh, cry, and smile (usually at the same time) when i needed it most. it was such an honor to perform with a group of people who were not only so talented, but led their lives with genuine kindness and love! i could not have asked for a better experience or group of people to do it with!what a gift it is to do what you love with the people you love.

thank you jack, devyn, randee, and anna for including me in this show and allowing me to be a part of telling this story! i adore you all!

love you all endlessly and i cannot wait to share the stage with you again!

9 to 5, what a way to make… some memories. This show started as just another one to add to the resume and ended being the best show I’ve ever done. I’m immensely grateful for the opportunity to perform this show with these people. These people mean so much to me that words can’t even express and I will never forget the time I had with them. Everyone in this cast is so so so kind, supportive, hard working, and insanely talented and that doesn’t even scratch the surface of how wonderful these people are. I’m going to miss each and every one of them 🫶

I am also so glad I got to put my education to its use in a show and experience working with puppets which was fun but also a learning experience.

I want to thank @devynfarney @jcorneliusart and @cornstocktheatre for giving me this opportunity to come in and be part of their amazing show that they envisioned. Despite the challenges, they were fearless and I had trust in them the entire time. But no Devyn, I will not miss that drive to Dunlap 😂

With all of that to say, I had so much fun telling this funny, meaningful story with all of these amazing people and I hope to do it again. Production photo post coming soon.
