POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This day last week, our little sister officially signed out of the university — FUTA! 👩‍🎓🎓 And to celebrate this beautiful milestone, my sister @leshi.oluwapelumi and I decided to a show up in Akure to surprise our graduate.

A little backstory: in all of her five years in Akure, not a single member of her family had ever visited her there. So, naturally, we were probably the last people on earth she expected to see.

We packed our bags, and embarked on this little surprise journey from Lagos to Akure. Seeing the look on her face when she finally she saw the gift items and when she finally realised we were there was everything! 🥹❤️

This wasn’t just a surprise visit; it was a moment we had dreamed of as a family. Watching our little girl complete five years of hard work, growth, sacrifices, late nights and everything in between is such a beautiful reminder of how faithful God has been.

@theleshimercy — THE GRADUATE 👩‍🎓🥹
We are so incredibly proud of you, baby girl. This milestone is a testimony of God’s goodness, and we are grateful for how far He has brought you and for the privilege of witnessing this beautiful chapter.

Akure, we came for our girl! 😂❤️
And yes, the surprise was absolutely worth the journey

Life didn’t end when everyone was choosing Law, Medicine and Engineering. 😂 I chose Theatre Arts from Primary school, held on to that dream, studied it, and yesterday, I graduated with a degree in the course I always wanted. 🎓❤️ Alhamdulillah. 🤲🏽

In the Content Writing class today, @theleshimercy brought the writer's prowess of storytelling to teach the mechanics of content writing. It was pleasurable time of learning of how to string words together to engage, educate and inform an audience.

Thank you so much ma'am. May your words always resound. ❤️

Spoken Word Presentation Highlights

Don’t get worn out fishing fish when the scrolls of your destiny has records of “fished men”
It’s too early to give up, don’t you think?

Look at the campus you walk through daily.
The street you live on.
The group chat you've gone quiet in.
The friend who's falling apart
and doesn't know you noticed.

Those are your “deeps” to launch
The problem is the direction that will yield great harvest wouldn’t look grand. Just like “launch deeper” even when you’ve toiled all night.
It’s not the word you want to hear, but it’s the rhema that you need.
So, launch deeper, my friend not someday but Now.

One honest preaching of the gospel.
One intentional invitation.
One moment of showing up
when it would've been easier not to
Can shift someone's entire life.

Here's what I really want you to know:
Your tiredness is not a character flaw.
Your empty season is not a life sentence.
Your struggle is not where your story ends. It hasn’t even begun.

Peter toiled.
But then he listened.
He obeyed.
He launched.

And the net, that same empty net,
nearly broke
under the weight of what God had been holding for
just a little further out.
And that’s just his great harvest for fishing fish.
Little wonder he could save thousands with just a sermon!

Men are waiting, Brethren
There’s more to you than fishing fish
Your harvest awaits you

But it starts with trusting the instruction from God
even when the conditions looks the same as the last time no one was saved.

Even when you're tired.
“Especially” when you're tired.

Launch out.
He'll meet you in the deep.

A quick visit back to the school from our last educational outreach 💛

Last year, we awarded scholarships to some students in Ijare, Ondo State to support their education through school fees, uniforms, textbooks, and other learning essentials. As part of our sustainability plan, some of our volunteers recently visited the school to check on the students’ progress and see how they’ve been doing academically.

Seeing these students continue to thrive in school reminds us why scholarship programs, education support, and child development initiatives for vulnerable children in Nigeria truly matter.
