🖤✨ 2025 was an incredible year filled with so much love from friends and family! Reflecting on my memories, I'm filled with gratitude for all the joy. Thanks for making this year unforgettable, and here's to 2026 🫶🏾

✨ congratulations ✨ to everyone who showed up this season. Whether you submitted your application for the first time or the fourth time, you should be proud of yourself. It takes real work, courage, and heart just to get to that point.

I heard a few tears. And that’s okay. Life doesn’t always go as planned. Sometimes we could’ve prepared differently, sometimes we did everything right and still got knocked off course. And with everything happening in the world right now, our nervous systems might not even feel okay… and that’s real.

But here’s the reminder: resilience and your “why” will carry you through. Extend yourself grace. Speak kindly to yourself.

Keep going. You’re closer than you think. 💪🏽 💪🏾

I had an amazing brunch with these beautiful ladies! It’s so refreshing to sit down, break bread, and have real conversations centered around Christ. ✝️

💕I can’t wait to do this again soon! Truly grateful for these moments and the chance fellowship.

Event ☝🏼@blend.vet had the opportunity to do a student pathway event in partnership with @purina @veccs_society @acvecc_official at IVECCS 2024 in St Louis. We worked with @kippstlouishighschool to bring 8th graders to the school and expose them to vet med through hands on activities. It’s a joy with every event ✔️students not wanting to leave the suture station ✔️students hitting that “vein” ✔️students going home in full surgical gear ✔️teachers telling us how they are love the engagement ✔️seeing my colleagues do their thang! Special Thanks to @veterinary_emergency_group for providing volunteers. Supplies and reptiles 🦎 thanks to @idexx for our diagnostic testing! Thanks to @Securos for providing all our orthopedic supplies!
I love you vet med. Thanks for believing that we can make a difference by showing up! #blendingvetmed #believeandbelonginvetmed #pathwayprograms #vetmed #veterinarians #vettechs #students #educators #parents #thefutureofvetmedicine

Home.

Thats what the last week has been about. Subtle reminders of the strength of which I come from. We spent the last week in St. Louis, and it was a full week of family, friends, and love. My little man got to play with his cousins, hang out with Gigi and Nana, come to work with Daddy on a photoshoot, and practice plenty of walking.

Last week was one of the best trips home to STL I’ve had since I left. I come back to DC feeling so full (literally. We had @imospizza 3 times).

The week culminated in celebrating my favorite women: my mother-in-love Dr. Gwendolyn Packnett, my mother @silverdiva_tam, and my wife @mspackyetti. I’m so thankful that God chose to put all of them in my life.

Can’t believe it’s been 20 weeks of #kidnoblechallenge already.

This week: Tuskegee University and Claflin University! ✨

Swipe for HBCU history and reflections!
