THE MOUNTAIN TOUR ⛰️

i feel like there is nothing i can accurately say to convey just how much happiness i felt this evening. from damon singling me out for a perfect few seconds during andromeda, to @jeffwootton melting our faces off with his guitar, throwing picks and even a couple setlists our way, this concert was EVERYTHING. all of us in the stadium riding a collective wave of joy and vibing with everyone on stage. starting from the opening acts of @officialdeltron and @littlesimz to the very end... SPECTACULAR. PERFECT. no notes.

@theloonfromthemoon i love you. can't think of anyone better to have slathered in green before the show. may we go to gorillaz concerts together in EVERY lifetime.

shout out to the amazing gorillaz singers and @angelsilveramusic because their voices are angelic and made us ascend and a shout out to @seyemusic for making the floor beneath us rumble with that powerful bass!! YOU GUYS MADE THIS NIGHT SO SPECIAL FOR A RAGAMUFFIN ACTOR FROM MIAMI, FLORIDA!!!

@gorillaz thank you for the music, thank you for the characters, thank you for the joy, and thank you for bringing me to right places at just the right time and always with the right people. ❤️🎶🤘

also no music over this post, you're gonna hear my lyric game, i don't play about this band!

here they come to steal my soul... 👻👹‼️

this was SO EVERYTHING. house of kong has traveled to two different spots before this and the second they announced it on the east coast, in NYC...i knew i had to act FAST. we booked our trip and got on a flight, and with barely a wink of sleep and lots of excitement in my heart, i got to experience this masterpiece of an exhibit.

it was a guided tour where they showed up the gorillaz legacy, from their concept art all the way to the mountain. we even visited murdoc's winnebago where it was hot, sweaty, and smelled like patchouli, weed, and dirty socks. there was even a voodoo doll shaped like 2D and some nasty leopard print panties that i had the pleasure of sitting in front of - fun for the entire family. we even saw plastic beach, live in front of our own eyes! this was everything gorillaz superfans could have dreamt of - and believe me... i've dreamt about it.

the attention to detail, the love and appreciation for the fans, the art, the MUSIC, 2D, Murdoc, Russel, Noodle.... ALL OF IT! @gorillaz you guys never cease to amaze and surprise me. you guys have changed my life for the better. can't wait for the north american tour to start.

Visiting the @mdcwolfson one last time. It was one heck of a journey, met some of the most amazing and talented people I have ever seen, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities over the years: from @magic_mdc, to @theempanadasus.
I will miss this campus, but I am so grateful for all the people I met over the course of my journey at MDC.
Thank you everyone!

BOOK LAUNCH + OPEN MIC

What a night in the Grove — at our home away from home, @booksandbooks , where words still mean something and silence listens back.

Biscayne Inferno and Other Stories ( @jitney_books ) came alive through the haunting voice of @theloonfromthemoon , with its first review shared by Chris Pineiro @christhepoet — both held gently in rhythm by @sam.e.hart on drums and @vincedupontbass on upright bass.

The second half became a kind of awakening — a circle of poets and artists, each revealing their truth to the night. We read not just to be heard, but to remember that we exist, that our words leave traces against time.

Here’s to the community that keeps the flame alive — poets, dreamers, and witnesses of the moment.

A big thank you to @booksandbooks for hosting me, for hosting us, and for always being a champion of this Miami community.
