The inaugural Lou Mile was a reminder of everything amazing about our running community & the city of St. Louis!

Thank you so much to STL Run Crew, Ricky Hughes, Jordan Stone, & everyone involved for bringing this dream to life! It was incredible seeing so many people come together to celebrate our sport.

The running world needs more mile races! 🏁

Since 1913 @crowncandykitchen has been a staple in our community.
Big Love to Andy and Sherri of Crown Candy! @crowncandykitchen for empowering us.

Crown Candy supported us when The Lou was just a thought, before we had the route, any sponsors, or any idea how we were good to pull this off.

Thank you to the Karandzieff family, we are already talking about year 2 😉

A little @theloumile behind the scenes: “Barricades on Barricades on Uhauls on Uhauls”

Plan a race they say :), it’ll be easy they say, actually NOBODY ever said that!!

It took a lot of time and effort to produce this race. So proud of our team for the execution. We learned soooo much!

On his 5th anniversary weekend of being a Spewak Racing member, Almir dominated the inaugural Lou Mile with a top 3 OA finish in a time of 4:50!

Almir spends so much time pacing other teammates & members of the running community. It’s so fun when we get to see him compete. He is one of the most dedicated & courageous athletes we know. Let’s go, Almir! #spewakracing
