STOOMFEST 2026 — DAY ONE

This is where it all started.

Day One of Stoomfest 2026 brought the Home of Heavy Music back to life. Heavy riffs, packed rooms, familiar faces, new friends and that feeling we spend the whole year waiting for.

Huge love to every band who stepped onto the stage and everyone who came through the doors and made the first night what it was.

ORBITER · THE LUNAR EFFECT · FROGLORD · KAISER · MOUNT HUSH

One night down. An entire weekend still ahead.

Welcome back to the Home of Heavy Music.

Stoomfest 2026. London.

What a weekend. What a family. What a feeling.

To every musician who stepped onto our stages, and every Stoomer who walked through the doors and trusted in what we are building: thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Stoomfest has never been an easy road. It takes an incredible amount of work, sacrifice, stress and belief to keep pushing this forward. But then the weekend arrives. We all step inside the Home of Heavy Music, the amps turn on, the rooms fill up, strangers become friends, and suddenly everything makes sense again.

That feeling is the spark that keeps us going.
Year after year, we see this family growing.

More familiar faces, more new ones, more bands becoming part of the story, and more people believing that something special can exist when it is built around music, community and a genuine love for the underground.

We are creating something special here. And none of it exists without you.

Thank you for your trust.

Thank you for your energy.

Thank you for your heart.

Thank you for making Stoomfest feel like home.

The Home of Heavy Music keeps growing.

See you in 2027. ❤️

Day one of @stoomfest was excellent.

@orbiterband , @thelunareffect , @froglordband , @kaiserfuzz and Mount Hush (whom I seem to have failed to record a clip of, doh).

I'm so ready for day two.

@stoomfest 2026 is kicking off TONIGHT and running over the next three days - so be sure to come and join us for this massive event in the heavy calendar.

Of particular satisfaction is the fact that so many bands that we know and love from CW are featured on the bill this year - including @mehiga_band - @earl_of_hell - @okayyouwinofficial - @thelunareffect - @sleepingmountainband and @dunesncl (which may be one of, if not their final performance) so come down and rock out!

PS I think Sunday is sold out but tonight and Saturday tickets are still available

After Vol. 1 I actually decided to turn this into a proper curated gym playlist.

My old playlist has accumulated a lot of stuff over the years that I barely listen to anymore, so I’m starting fresh — just psychedelic rock, stoner, desert rock, doom and whatever else actually makes it into my current gym rotation.

I’ll keep adding tracks with every volume of Stoner / Psychonaut Gym Playlist.

Full playlist in my bio.
