The First Five. 🎓💗 Before FOODĪ became the bigger ecosystem we’re building today, there were five entrepreneurs who said yes to the beginning. Five founders who learned, built, asked questions, challenged themselves and became the first graduating cohort of FOODĪ Academy. Today, they’re being recognized with a proclamation. And for me, this moment is bigger than the recognition itself. It’s proof that the vision is moving from an idea into something real. Five founders became the beginning. Now we build the ecosystem around them. Education. Community. Capital. Workforce development. Procurement. Opportunity. Infrastructure. And we’re just getting started. 💗 Congratulations to our founding five! 🎓 #FOODI #FoodEntrepreneur #FoodBusiness #FoodEntrepreneurs #MarylandEntrepreneurs

We did it. 🎓🌹 On Saturday, our founding cohort graduated, and I am still overwhelmed with pride. Five women spent six weeks building real food businesses from the ground up. Brand, menu, pricing, marketing, funding, all of it. On graduation day, they stood up, spoke about their businesses, and walked across that stage as the entrepreneurs they’ve become. This is what Foodī Academy is all about: connecting local farms to local food entrepreneurs who feed the community. Thank you to the Maryland Women’s Business Center, Chase Bank, the City of Seat Pleasant, and Kinship Gardens for believing in these women. This is only the beginning. Our next cohort starts this fall. 🌱 Want to be next? The link in our bio will get you on the interest list. #WomenInBusiness #FoodEntrepreneur #PrinceGeorgesCounty #BlackWomenInBusiness

We wanna thank errybody for coming to B&B Juneteenth weekend lol. The community was needed and we had a time having @roycesinclair teach. Thank you to the vendors that popped in: @networkfarms who helps us stay elevated, @themasonjar_dmv for the flavorful after class eats and @irie_essence who brought us that great massage oil and yummy smelling candles. Y’all help to make this community experience what it is. • • Your favorite wellness sesh for July is on the 19th! We got you covered as always with great instruction and the best vendors in our network to provide you with a full experience. 🔗 in bio! • #PassTheBouqé #HealingBarre #DCYoga #Community

Back in action with @TheBlackMomsFair, and this time we were in the DMV for Black Maternal Health Week 🩷 @StephanieBauchum, we first came together in Dallas last summer, and so many important connections were made. Watching you grow the Black Moms Fair with panels, vendors, families, and resources all in one place inspires me and my business. We all enjoyed the panel conversations, local representatives showed up, and there was so much good shopping y’all! I came home with two new hats, some earrings, and sold out @babyyamsquilts inventory. Stephanie, where we going next?! 📸 @atha1ie
