The journey so far ✨ A little reminisce, a moment to appreciate the depth and varied career so far and thank you to the friends, mentors, clients and others who saw my potential when often I did not πŸ’œ I hope I am able to do the same for the next generation of movers and shakers πŸ’œ

From stage to studio: one cue that changed everything for me, the layered cue. Start with a simple visual, add a tactile correction, then finish with an energetic intention. I taught this while launching reformer classes in London in 2011 and I *still* use it to help new instructors feel calm and confident. It’s quick for experienced teachers, and game-changing for those just starting. Try it in your next class and notice how flow, connection and client confidence improve. If you’d like to upskill your teaching in Barre or Perinatal, The Method have spaces in both dates this year. Steal my Barre Flow: β€’ Add weights – I’m using 1kg in my free hand. β€’ Place a ball under your grounded foot for an extra burn πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ β€’ Take it away from the barre and embrace the challenge of free-flowing for added balance. Let’s elevate our practice together as we move and groove to the beat… See you in class! πŸ™ƒ Tuesdays 6.15pm @yogahouseorewa #barre #barrefitt #barrevideos #barreworkout #barreclass

Thank you @themethodnz for your incredible training and support this last year!! I remember being in tears on day 2 of the training feeling so over whelmed.. thinking β€œomg I have never danced- I have no idea what all these moves are- what am I doing” But you kept encouraging me along with the beautiful @sophie.ann10 @yogahouseorewa and I finished the training- I faked it until I made it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆ Until my confidence grew and now I LOVE IT!!! I love that Barre lets me add my own flair and have fun- If movement is fun we keep showing up right 😁 We smile and laugh those leg burn and pulses away πŸ”₯ 2-2-2-2 if you know you know. So incredibly grateful to you beautiful ladies for all your teachings- knowledge and ongoing support β€οΈπŸ’œ Who’s looking forward to moving and grooving country style Tuesday with me ☺️
