Watercolor and Sketchbook Artist

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I ain't afraid of no👻. But making art can be scary. If you're not already following @themightierpencil check her out she's incredible and has been playing with a looser style recently!

You're not alone if you've fallen into a fear trap with art. Maybe you don't think yours will be good enough, maybe you're afraid of "wasting" supplies, there are tons of reasons to not even try something if you let your lizard brain have a say. If you've been wanting to try something, you should. You might fail, at least at first, but without failing you'll never learn. Failure is a part of the process! Not to mention the people you see on socials with amazing art have so many failures they're just not sharing so in fact when you do fail, you're in good company!

Sketchbook Tour #9 Completed my Stillman & Birn Delta sketchbook which is a coldpress 270gsm sketchbook with ivory paper. It was nice being a little more loose in this sketchbook and truly experimenting. #sketchbook #sketchbookart #sketchbooktour #art #artist #artistsoninstagram #artistsofinstagram #artistsofig #blackartists #watercolor #watercolour #watercolorpainting #watercolorart #explore #explorepage #exploremore #explorepage✨

This sketchbook exercise was inspired by the queen of sketchbooks @themightierpencil . Remember to go with the flow on this one and just enjoy the show that watercolors can provide.

If you like how these Qor watercolors move but the price point is too much for you Viviva Color Sheets are a good more budget friendly option. @themightierpencil #paintingideas #sketchbookideas #easyart #artideas #watercolor #sketchbookexercises #aquarelle

Happy birthday to one of the most amazing an inspirational women I know. Easily my most bragged about and praised family member. She has been a huge part of my life since my birth and even sparked my comic book addiction. I love you so much and I hope you birthday is even more amazing than the influence you've had on me ❤❤❤
