Did you know Caffetteria and The Mixx are sister restaurants? 💚 Both concepts were created by Jo Marie Scaglia and share the same philosophy: scratch-made ingredients, intentional recipes, and fresh, delicious food.

Similar in quality, but each with its own personality! Caffetteria offers more grab-and-go options and a larger menu, including flatbreads, while The Mixx focuses on classic comfort sandwiches and fresh salads.

Different menus, same commitment to always fresh, always delicious! 💚

It’s one of the best seasons of all KC…Patio Season! 🍂☀️

We only get so many picture-perfect days to eat al fresco without sweating or freezing our faces off. So when I found the Fall Rainbow Salad on @themixxkc seasonal menu through the @EMPOApp, I grabbed my gf and we made a weekday lunch date out of it! 🥬🐔🥑🍓🐟🥕

“Taste the Rainbow” 🌈 This seasonal salad has baby spinach, roasted beets, yellow squash, kidney beans with garlic & parsley, red onion, and green beans, all tossed in a creamy tarragon-tahini vinaigrette. I added grilled chicken for protein.

📲Download the EMPO App for FREE:
🔎 Search by KC neighborhood and/or experience (lunch, happy hour, date night, etc.)
🍹 Scroll the “Happening Now” results to discover daily deals
✨Find everything from daily happy hour specials and live music to weekday express lunches, patio season happenings, and more. It’s SUPER EASY to find your next local experience!
