The perfect salad for fall! 🍂🥗 Our Rustic Beet Salad combines roasted beets and hand-cut roasted sweet potatoes with fresh spinach and arugula, house-made hickory-smoked almonds, and creamy goat cheese, all tossed in our homemade Tarragon Shallot Vinaigrette.

Originally a featured special, this seasonal favorite was so loved that we made it a permanent addition to the menu! 🧡 Stop by and enjoy a little taste of fall with us! by @themixxkc

It’s one of the best seasons of all KC…Patio Season! 🍂☀️

We only get so many picture-perfect days to eat al fresco without sweating or freezing our faces off. So when I found the Fall Rainbow Salad on @themixxkc seasonal menu through the @EMPOApp, I grabbed my gf and we made a weekday lunch date out of it! 🥬🐔🥑🍓🐟🥕

“Taste the Rainbow” 🌈 This seasonal salad has baby spinach, roasted beets, yellow squash, kidney beans with garlic & parsley, red onion, and green beans, all tossed in a creamy tarragon-tahini vinaigrette. I added grilled chicken for protein.

Starting October 11, Mixx at Hawthorne will be closed on Sundays for the winter season 💚

We’ll be following our Plaza location’s Sunday hours and plan to reopen on Sundays in the spring when the weather warms up after Chiefs season! 🏈
