Jade and Lee’s Manchester wedding was everything you’d expect from a proper city celebration—stylish, unforgettable and packed with personality. They tied the knot at The Monastery Manchester, a breathtaking Grade II* listed former Franciscan friary on Gorton Lane, Gorton. Designed by Victorian architect Edward Welby Pugin, the venue provided the perfect backdrop, blending jaw-dropping Gothic grandeur with all the romance of the day.

After the “I dos,” guests headed across the city for an equally impressive reception at The Lowry in MediaCityUK, where spectacular views stretched across the quayside. Dinner, drinks and plenty of happy tears soon gave way to a full-on party, with everyone dancing, laughing and celebrating late into the night.
From historic architecture to waterfront glamour, Jade and Lee’s wedding was a brilliant showcase of Manchester at its very best—beautiful, bold and brilliantly fun from start to finish. Thank You So Much For Having me!!! #citywedding #themonastrymanchester #weddingınspo #editorialweddingphotographer

On Wednesday we popped back to @themonasterymcr where we were married just over 10 years ago as part of my anniversary present. Seeing @thegreatbritishfilmorchestra play music celebrating @timburton & @dannyelfman was an absolute thrill! #anniversary #music #classicalmusic

Spot the difference... Three versions of Josefina de Vasconcellos's sculpture 'Joyous Mary and Babe' at Carlisle Cathedral, Manchester Monastery and Ambleside Parish Church. Josefina also sent versions of this work to the USA, famously wrapping one in an old sleeping bag and labelling it 'DALLAS OR BUST' which caused consternation among the customs officials.
