The Artist Pay Project zine is here! (Well, it’s been here for a while but 😶).

Beautifully designed by @themselvespress, the zine features interviews with 10 artists from across the country, sharing their thoughts on all things $$$.

Zines are $18 which includes shipping, and supports this journalism. DM to snag a copy! Photo of brown hand holding multi-colored, yellow and orange zine that reads "Artist Pay Project" and "the art rebellion"

surprise!!!!! my first official zine offering hand plucked vhs stills from the CRT installation in my solo exhibition ‘intravenus’. curated and made with love by NYC zine god @themselvespress

28 pages of spectacle and artifact - equal parts locket, striptease, and séance.

“B SIDE VHS STILLS presents a selection of frames extracted from the vhs portion of riley valentine’s original INTRAVENUS installation. this zine slows motion into gesture, texture, and atmosphere, allowing each frame to function as a photograph in its own right. noise, static, and magnetic degradation are preserved as soft stills. B SIDE VHS STILLS is not a record of the exhibition- but a continuation of it, shifting vhs from fleeting spectacle into tangible artifact.”

this is the only print iteration of these stills, without this zine they simply would not be offered tangibly! thank you thank you charlie for inspiring me to utilize this footage in print and for bringing this together! @themselvespress @casualscience

Check it out on their site ! <3
