𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦 🥂

Hope you have the BEST half term, whether you’e spending it away or at home! It’s the time spent together as a family that means the most to our little ones, not ‘how much money we spend’. It’s important for us all to remind ourselves of this 💕.

The weather is looking pretty good over the next few days, why not make the most of the outdoors. Going for walks is a fab FREE way to have fun, get fresh air and saves money (with the ever increasing heating bill 💸)!

Although feeling pretty guilty myself to be working this half term. What’s your half-term plans? ⬇️

Our visit to @hoarcrosshallhotel was utterly perfect 🫶🏼. So I thought I’d take you with me into our super luxury hotel room which had stairs to the bed, a private terrace with a hot tub, @nespresso.uk machine and @dysonhair accessories.

It was dreamy AF and I’m desperate to return. Tag someone who needs a break to @hoarcrosshallhotel soon!

As soon as we saw the Junior Farmer event at @kenyonhallfarm, I knew Sophia would be obsessed so I had to book us on.

We attended a growing strawberries event, where we learnt about the strawberry plant first and then headed down to the strawberry fields to help farmer Todd get rid of the old strawberry plants.

We then went back and learnt some more and ended with potting our own strawberry plant to take away.

The session lasted approximately 45 mins and was well worth the £6.95 we paid. Sophia didn’t want to leave the strawberry fields and if she could, would have helped farmer Todd all day.. and the hubby would have too. After the session, we played on the park, visited the farm shop and had lunch in the café so allow yourself more time in your schedule ❤️. There is also a muddy walks that you can take too.. definitely bring the wellies!

There will be more young farmer events coming soon suitable for 3-11 years old. The next session will be about growing vegetables and tickets will be released soon! See you there 💕.

At home, there’s always something to do, or dishes to put away or clothes to pick up from the floor. It’s very rarely that as mums, we do ‘nothing’ so it’s really important to take time away to just relax.

@hoarcrosshallhotel has been a place my family and I visit every year and we have done since I was 16. Our trip this year was just as relaxing, definitely needed some ‘me time’. We had the most special time and can not wait to return!

Have you ever visited @hoarcrosshallhotel or is it on your bucket list? ⬇️

Going out in the evening sometimes can be a struggle with the bedtime routine, so we made sure that Saturday was fun for as we had a #bignightin with thanks to @swizzels_sweets.

I filled my giant tray from @tofs_official with shredded paper and a couple of packs of @swizzels_sweets to create the ultimate sweetie board.

The first thing that Sophia said as soon as she saw my sweetie creation was ‘wowwwww’. So little effort went into creating something that looked soo much fun! You can recreate this with any tray you have at home. It’s the little things that go a long way for our little ones. ❤️ Don’t forget to SAVE this post to recreate at home! ❤️

Happy Saturday! Is it me or is anyone else done with this cold gloomy weather? Bring on the summer ☀️!?

I am so overwhelmed with how many of you have been onto my website so far. I have SO much to add to it over the coming weeks, from my top recommendations in Staffordshire and Cheshire for food and family days out. So keep your eyes peeled for updates!

If you haven’t headed over to my website yet, link is in my bio and we currently have the last of the January deals along with Valentine’s Day restaurant inspo.

Throwback to last weekend when here we had a rare child-free night away at @bridgechesh… and the BREAKFAST was delish.

Have you got much planned this weekend? ⬇️

Imagine a cosy fire, delicious food, cool dark ambiance, prosecco flowing, dogs welcome followed by a delicious creme brûlée.

That’s what we got to experience at @bridgechesh. Everything about our visit was just so heavenly.

It was our first break away in a long time together and it was so chilled and dreamy. The bedrooms were next level and I was so excited to see crisps and fudge in our bedroom instead of boring biscuits. WINNER WINNER. @thebathhouseshop toiletries were super luxury and smelt absolutely delicious. We even had robes and slippers in our room for added luxury. There was certainly no expense spared in this beautiful hotel. It literally felt like our home away from home - we didn’t wanna leave!

After dinner, we took an @uber into Alderley Edge which was just 10 mins drive. We had the best evening and I can certainly recommend @bridgechesh for anyone thinking of date night over the coming months!

A great day spent at @trenthamestate celebrating the Chinese New Year. I loved that Sophia got to meet the dragon that she learnt about at school this week.

The @totally.delicious food truck was so good too, the veg spring rolls were next level 😍.

We ended our lovely day with a walk and a play on the park. We always get to create such wonderful memories at @trenthamestate ❤️.
