[pr] …almost burst into tears at the dinner table 🙈

My daughter has always struggled with speaking to new people. She wouldn’t usually order her own food, let alone look at someone new without hiding behind me.

But our visit to @theploughandharrowaldridge was different.

She read the menu herself, asked the lovely waitress which dish she would recommend and actually engaged with her. 🥹

And honestly, I think the welcoming atmosphere and the friendliness of the team played such a huge part in that.

To some people, this might seem like such a little thing, but to us, it was HUGE.

Her first time. And hopefully the first of many more to come. 🤍

So, whilst the food was gorgeous, it was that little moment that made this visit so special for us. We couldn’t be more grateful, and we already can’t wait to go back.

… as well as the restaurant being a vibe, delicious food and good wine

[ad] Our early anniversary escape and one of the BEST spas we’ve been to 🥂🤍

If you haven’t been to @manorhousealsager before, I can not recommend this place enough!

There were so many little places to relax and we were quite often the only ones in the pool, which made it feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. We visited on a Thursday and Friday and didn’t have to fight for a bed, or struggle to find somewhere to sit, which was incredible 🥹.

We loved every minute of our stay, and it was all the little touches that made it even better. From the spray and cream left for us at bedtime, to a little surprise with our evening meal, the gorgeous breakfast the next morning and even a water bottle included with our stay. They’ve really thought of everything!

It was just what we needed for a bit of time together as husband and wife as we approach 9 years of marriage🙃😂

Watch him grow ➡️ 1 year of loving you 🐶

Can you believe we genuinely thought we had a cockapoo? 😂 It was only as he started growing that we realised he looked more like his mum… definitely the spaniel genes coming through! We wouldn’t have it any other way..even when the vets look at us funny when they call Milo the Cockapoo 🙈

From sunsets and festivals to muddy walks, harry potter dress up, pumpkin picking and foodie stops, my not-so-little pupsicle has been by our side for it all 🥹🤎

We love you even when you bring the chaos with you. Like the mud all over my freshly cleaned carpet, zoomies and generally making sure we never quite know what’s coming next 😂

He’s brought so much fun, love and a lotttaaaaa of mess into our lives, and we genuinely couldn’t imagine our little family without him now. Although our older doggy Jessica still isn’t quite his best friend yet 🙈

Our first time at @oakleysfarmstaffordshire and it definitely won’t be our last. Animals, Halloween games, pumpkins, marshmallows, a gorgeous little farm shop and food spot too 🫶🏼

Just husband and wife, not just Mummy and Daddy 🙃

Still feeling so zen after getting back from @manorhousealsager yesterday. I’ll share my full review soon, but for now we’re still very much in that chilled out and relaxed bubble.

Yesterday we even decided to painted the hallway after putting it off for almost 6 years 🤍. There must have been something in the spa water OR maybe it was the reset we never knew we needed! 🙈🤣

Not only did we have the BEST Sunday roast we’ve had in ages… ➡️

A little sneak peek at Christmas at @denstonehallfarmshop after their annual @dougiemachospice charity evening tonight 💛🎄

Every year without fail they go all out, but I think this year might be my favourite yet. I’m OBSESSED with the decs.

I’ve already got a list of things I want to come back for.. but shh, hubby doesn’t need to know.

For now, I’m just going to slowly start bringing the Christmas decorations out one by one… starting now and pretending November was the plan. Do you think he’ll notice? 😂

We did the Shaun the Sheep Find the Flock trail at @trenthamestate last year and I have to say, I think this year’s is better.

The activity pack is included with garden admission and has an embossing stamp, some fun jokes and little things to keep everyone entertained as you go around.

Sophia loved it, and as she’s getting older it’s getting harder to find things that keep her entertained, so that’s a win 😂🐑

[pr] A little Cheshire staycation that came at exactly the right time…back to school has hit us hard🤍

Daresbury Park has recently had a refurbishment and there are some gorgeous changes throughout the hotel, making it feel fresh, modern and SO much more than you might expect from a family-friendly stay.

It’s also in a really handy spot for exploring Warrington, Cheshire, with plenty of places to visit and wander nearby.. you can make the stay as busy or as chilled as you like

And the best part is that we didn’t need to wait for a child-free weekend to enjoy a little bit of R&R 🥂

Is it too early to start decorating or should I ask a friend? 🎄

Thank you so much @housingunits for inviting us in to explore the autumn trends and Christmas collections and learn more about their Home is a Feeling campaign.

I left dreaming of the comfiest sofa ever, a statement fireplace wall and a whole new bedroom set… so Christmas is officially sorted. Just not for anyone else..
