POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

@themuseumwriter and I are going to frolic through the halls in 18th century cosplay, mark my words!! My dear friend went to Versailles and sent me this amazing gift 🥹🎀🫶🏻

My husband started chemo today, and coming home to this package in the mail was just an amazing reminder that there are still things that can make me smile.

My cat Queenie also enjoyed it. Lol she was in my last reel as well. (Obsessed 🤭)

Thank you Maddie. So so much! 🎀🫶🏻🦢🕯️💓🪭

☕️Coffee Book Tag☕️

I realized the other day that I haven’t done one of these tag challenges in like a year?! I remember they used to be soooo popular and I loved seeing and doing them! So reviving an old tag from the archives with my fave coffee book and scent

✨𝙲𝚊𝚙𝚙𝚞𝚌𝚌𝚒𝚗𝚘: 𝚊 𝚋𝚘𝚘𝚔 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚑𝚊𝚜 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝚖𝚎
- Threshing Day 😬 I know I know how have I not read it yet?!!! Honestly as much as I’m excited to read it and theorize, I kind of got put off by how many spoilers I saw and it really ruined the experience for me. I plan to pick it up soon but pls remember your spoiler warnings babes!

✨𝙻𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎: 𝚊 𝚜𝚠𝚎𝚎𝚝 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍
- Assistant to the Villain! It always makes me smile and laugh every time I read it

✨𝙼𝚘𝚌𝚑𝚊: 𝚊𝚗 𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚕 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍
- Literally any of the Zodiac Academy books. I realized I left them off of my drag path post yesterday but they have 100% made me sob my eyes out multiple times

✨𝙴𝚜𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚜𝚘: 𝚊 𝚋𝚘𝚘𝚔 𝙸 𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚞𝚐𝚐𝚕𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚘 𝚐𝚎𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑
- Caught Up. I love Lights Out but struggled with the rest of the series, especially Caught Up. Should have DNF’ed

✨𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚝 𝚠𝚑𝚒𝚝𝚎: 𝚊 𝚋𝚘𝚘𝚔 𝚘𝚗 𝚖𝚢 𝚝𝚋𝚛
- The Blade and the Last Sacrifice! I JUST got a Netgalley approval for this one and I’m pumped to start! The Wolf and the Crown of Blood was one of my faves earlier this year

Tagging some girlies to participate but if you see this then ✨tag✨

🍁 Autumn in Stars Hollow is from my fave scent supplier @writteninflame and is the perfect *chefs kiss* blend of coffee and banana bread! ✨MAGICAL15✨ will save ya some 💸💸 AND all fall scents leave her sh0p on the 16th so order now!

I am an Autumn ✨🍁🍂🤎☕️

Gilmore Girls = fall. I love rewatching Gilmore girls during the fall. The show embodies the cozy small town vibe and has the perfect nostalgia feels to it. I will forever be a Jess girl and Emily Gilmore is my favorite character.

Luke’s coffee: a book you would never get tired of reading
- People We Meet on Vacation 🧡

A film by Kirk: a book to movie adaptation you would want to see
- The Emma M Lion series but as a tv show

Friday night dinners: a book you ate up
- The Exquisite Torment of Loving your Enemy

You jump, I jump Jack: a book/series that was a once in a lifetime experience
- I would say the ACOTAR series because it helped so many of us get back into reading and creating accounts on this space 🫶

The Dragonfly Inn: a cozy book
- The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst

Rory’s sweater: a book that feels like a warm hug
- The Pumpkin Bride

1000 yellow daises: a romantic gesture you love to see in books

Cider Mill Vibes 🍎🍁🤎🍂

One of my favorite things to do in the fall is go to a cider mill. I love picking apples, getting lost in a corn maze and eating donuts. I took my first visit to a cider mill this past weekend and it was the perfect way to get me even more excited for fall. Plus my little one loved running through the corn maze

I thought these pictures went perfectly with the apple girl tag created by @dreamerwithabook and @bookmarkedby_andrea

Apple Cider: a tart FMC you will always defend
- Katniss

Apple Picking: a fictional couple you think would go on an apple picking date
- Poppy and Alex. Poppy would drag Alex along, picking all the apples she sees and Alex would act like he hated this but really loved every minute

Candy Apple: childhood friends to lovers book you love
- Every Summer After and Wyatt

Apple Pie: a character that feels like fall
- Nora Stephens

Apple Orchard: a fictional setting you could picture an apple orchard in
- Waning Bay from Funny Story. Mostly because it is set in a northern fictional MI town and we have apple orchards all over our beautiful state

Apple Crisp Macchiato: a book/series you wish we’d get more of
- The Lovelight Farms series. I just want to know more about life in that cozy town

Caramel Apple: a MMC you’d take a bite out of
- Azriel 🤭

The National Book Festival is a FREE event put on every year by the Library of Congress! It’s one of my favorite DC events, and I got to see so many authors, historians, and changemakers in this year’s lineup. Here’s a taste of what I got up to yesterday— and mark your calendar for next year’s National Book Festival on August 21, 2027!
