A little lunch-break catch-up over coffee with @themwheelsdontroll Kathleen, who introduced me to a coffee shop in my own work neighbourhood that I’d walked past countless times but never stepped into.

A lovely surprise to discover her photographs on the wall, a mother cow and her calf (not dairy cows, but beef cattle) ☕📷 Truly enjoyed the company of such a lovely person and wonderful artist.

Saturday’s final opening reception in our Paddington space was a bittersweet occasion, filled with mixed emotions as we prepare to close our doors with the lease’s expiration in June.

We have had the immense privilege of working with so many inspiring artists on the 40/40 Project over the last 12 years. Along with our stable of artists, the 40/40 Project has showcased works by the following celebrated guest artists in this curated, annual exhibition:

Abdul Abdullah, Susan Archer, David Fairbairn, John Peart, Euan McLeod, Guy Warren, Claus Stangl, Nick Stathopoulos, Jinx Nolan, Robert Malherbe, Margaret Loy Pula, Robert Dickerson, William Boissevain, Boyd Sanday, Geoff Makin, Prudence Flint, Judy Cassab, Margaret Ackland, Robert Juniper, David Collins, Annalisa Ferraris, Marie Peter-Toltz, Jo Bertini.

The full exhibition catalogue can be accessed on our website (link in bio) | please direct all enquiries to nadinewagner@wagnercontemporary.com.au
