My oil painting ‘Golden Country Dreaming’ is on display at Friends on Show 2026, Hazelhurst Arts Centre.
The Opening always draws a large crowd to view the diverse selection of art works. Lovely to catch up with friends old and new.

I’m thrilled ‘Lone Sentinel’ has sold at the Friends Annual & Focus Exhibition, displayed on the opposite wall to my ‘Garden Goddess’.
A huge thank you to the buyer, Friends of Campbelltown Arts Centre & Campbelltown Arts Centre for your support.
On display until 13 September, it’s well worth a visit.

My first visit to Art Atrium 48, and what an impressive gallery! Set over 2 levels and just a short walk from Milsons Point Station, it’s definitely worth a visit.
Clinton Naina’s exhibition was launched by Simon Chan AM, Director of Art Atrium and Chair of the Multicultural NSW Advisory Board. Jan Cleveringa’s exhibition was launched by Rhonda Davis, Senior Curator at Macquarie University Art Gallery.
Unfortunately Clinton was unable to attend leaving Jan to be the star of the night!
I’m a big fan of Jan’s work, particularly his very unique working process. I highly recommend attending the Artist Talk:
Jan Cleveringa in conversation with Miguel Olma. Director of Gallery Lane Cove + Creative Studios, on 20 August, 6-8pm.
Exhibitions continue until 27 August, a must see!

NAIDOC turns 50!
A large crowd gathered for an engaging Collection Tour of the Yiribana Gallery in Naala Badu, led by Dhungatti artist Blak Douglas. Informative and entertaining, his insights brought the artworks to life and highlighted the power of First Nations storytelling.
It’s always fun to attend an event with Debbie @lime_spider

A large crowd gathered for the openings at the Belconnen Arts Centre last Friday evening, with Kerry & Mike’s exhibition Of Ravens and Rivers my priority.
So many exhibitions on display across the galleries, definitely worth the train trip from Sydney.

CLIMATE SOLVERS by award winning photographer Guy Templeton is a must see!
I recently attended a talk by Guy and found it informative and genuinely hopeful. This has been a massive project. Congratulations Guy!
The Leaving hits especially close to home, documenting the very familiar 80 homes in Lismore. 3 years after the floods, families accepted a government buyout and left the floodplain.

Exhibition continues until 30 January
