Rain, rain, and one seriously incredible wedding day. ☔️

Alex & Carter’s September wedding was proof that a little unpredictable weather doesn’t have to change a thing about having the most amazing day.

When the rain started pouring, I was ready with my clear umbrellas and backup plans. But these two trusted my vision, rallied their incredible wedding party, and headed outside anyway.

And THOSE PHOTOS. Worth every single raindrop.

From the energy of their wedding party to the beautiful, intimate ceremony and a dance floor that absolutely delivered, this entire day was such a joy to be part of.

And of course, The Nash. One of my absolute favourite Calgary wedding venues, with a team that consistently delivers an exceptional experience. It’s always an honour to return and work alongside such incredible people.

Alex & Carter, thank you for trusting me, embracing every part of your day, and making this one super unforgettable.

Looking for a unique Calgary food experience? Cocktail Club at The Nash is such a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon. 🍸

This Inglewood Calgary restaurant pairs four cocktails with four tasting plates, all built around one seasonal theme.

This round was all about preserving summer, with everything from tuna carpaccio and plum mezcal sake to duck breast with pear mulled wine.

My favourite was easily the Taber corn “dog” with Shropshire cheese sauce and honey mustard. I would order that again immediately.

The theme changes every time, and the next Cocktail Club at The Nash is Halloween. These events tend to sell out quickly, so keep an eye out for tickets.
