This Monday, May 25, marks two years since Ondo Coffee opened its first location in East Hollywood.

Looking back at old photos brings back so many memories—the uncertainty of opening a new business in a space that had already seen multiple cafes come and go, the late-night conversations about our concept and what we wanted Ondo to represent, and most of all, wondering whether we could truly build a community here.

Now, when we look at the space today, we feel nothing but gratitude for everyone who stops by for a cup of coffee each day. As cliche as it may sound, Ondo truly would not exist without each and every one of you.

To celebrate two years in this space, we’ll be offering the following this Memorial Day while supplies last: • $2 Gesha Batch Brews • $2 Gesha Flash Brews • Gesha in our “Fruity” hopper

Last week, I locked myself away from the world and invited some of the most creative, kind, thoughtful and interesting people that I know to collaborate with me. I’m honestly overwhelmed by the good vibes that everyone brought and grateful for the community that assembled around this project.

First of all, thank you from the bottom of my heart and secondly, I can’t wait to get what we made out in the world.
