Dawn tide
-
The forecast for yesterday's sunrise looked good so I headed up to the coast at Sheringham. However, the cloud forecast was wrong and it obliterated almost all of the sunlight. But the high tide and rough seas made for some very interesting shots along the seafront.
I might have got splashed by one or two big waves, but I didn't regret going out so early.

Mother Earth
-
Looking down on the earth gives you a sense of how big and beautiful our planet is but also how small we are by comparison. It's worth stopping in to check out. You can walk around, look at it from all angles, sit and quietly contemplate or listen to the custom soundtrack.
This artwork by Luke Jerram called Gaia (meaning the personification of the Earth) is in @st.petermancroft in Norwich till the end of October.

Winter mist
-
The cold mist hung over Norfolk yesterday and made our walk rather chilly but without snow. A bit frustrating when it seems that so much of the uk has snow at the moment. But that said we did have a good frost and mist creating nice atmospheric images. And the kids enjoyed cracking the ice in the puddles.

City at Sunset
-
The sky lit up last night. I couldn't help but stop on my way to work to snap this.
Hope you are coping with the changes that have been going on this week. We're nearly at the weekend and the end of week 1 of lockdown.
Stay safe.

Marketplace - Wanna go shopping? The Norwich market is an outdoor market consisting of around 200 stalls and was founded in the later part of the 11th century to supply Norman merchants and settlers moving to the area. It has been in operation on the present site for over 900 years.
It is a place to stroll around with family and friends, to chatter with the vendors, to make memories and write stories about. .

Taken last week when I waited till sunset to take my daily walk along the river.
Sun a beautiful sunset over the River Wensum in Norwich.
I posted one shot from that walk on my daily IG @thenorfolkjournal
Which was just a quick phone edit. This has had a proper edit back home.
