A day I will never forget.
SURPRISE!! Happy 70th, Dad! We actually pulled it off! It was a wonderful evening filled with smiles, laughs, stories and great food.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who joined us from near and far. It was because of you all that we could honor my Dad in the best way I know how, surrounded by friends!

More of the season! My sis and I started the “Christmas Pickle” tradition years ago. I don’t have a photo of our Christmas Pickle to kick off tree trimming, but I do have this cute photo of us eating pickles from the late 90’s or even early to mid 2000’s. #celebrateyourway #aunties

Reposted from @sothebys #SothebysSundaySketch: Who struggles with proportion? 🙋 Well, this 19th century study of a seated woman gives a little insight into the working method of one artist, who sketched their subject onto a squared grid using black and white chalk! So...why not pick up a pencil and have a go at drawing the scene ✏️

Upload your finished masterpiece to Instagram, tagging @sothebys and #SothebysSundaySketch. We'll share as many as we can in our stories later today 👏 All efforts are encouraged!

Tip: Too easy? Why not add some background detail 🌴
Too tricky? Try tracing the picture first! ✍️

The drawing will be offered at auction this week, as part of #MastersWeek in NYC. Click the link in bio to learn more about this 'Study of a Seated Woman'.
