Ali’s first day of Grade 12, new school. Taco pie night was requested, if you’ve never had one you’re missing out on one of the joys of life. Crust is made with crescent rolls, and I upgraded the meat to ground Muscovy duck. So winner winner, duck dinner 😋💕 by @theoceanpixie

3T0 UofT Temerty Faculty of Medicine Stethescope Ceremony Friday August 21, 2026. It was EXHILARATING seeing the 303 students get draped with their Stethoscopes - they symbolize so much, especially listening and connecting with the patient they care for. Saying I’m proud, would be an understatement. Wishing Raven all the best, I’ve seen what it takes to get here. So much work, and sacrifice. Congratulations to my first born! 🙌😍💕✨ by @theoceanpixie

Eating Breakfast when Ali screamed, “Mom is on TV!” So I’m stock footage for Ancient Aliens now! I was in this abduction episode with the likes of Bud Hopkins, Kathleen Marsden and Whitley Strieber! 🙌💕 That’s 2 episodes that I know about! The Arkells! Last Tahrahnah show of the tour! With my best Arkell buddy Raven 😍 I don’t know all of their songs but I LOVE seeing them live! They make my heart young, and are so proudly Canadian and talented. I can’t wait to see them live again :) #arkells #toronto #rbcampitheatre #summer #daughters by @theoceanpixie

Ice Fishing at Island Lake Conservation area with Credit River Métis Council and community, for Family Day! What a lovely experience, and I didn’t catch a fish but I got one good nibble! Thank you to CRMC, you are the best and I’m blessed! I fired up hotdogs and S’mores! #CRMC #MNO #icefishing #familyday #community 🐟🐟🐟 by @theoceanpixie

So we had a little snowstorm eh?! Snow day happened as we had to dig out, for girl’s schools, my Doctor’s appointments, work. It was a good call because we were literally snow bound despite digging out repeatedly yesterday and today took hours. We couldn’t have left if we wanted to. Thank you to the local Fynns crew who held down the fort in Toronto. Today involved the opportunity to make Nutella cappuccinos and thank goodness for frozen pizza! Good to have that tucked away in case of emergency! #snowstorm #snowblower #broken #nespresso #nutella by @theoceanpixie
