A chapter I’ll carry forever with me.

Still feels a little surreal whenever I think about it. My younger self wouldn’t believe I’d one day be here, cooking at a place I once looked up to from afar.

Grateful to have crossed paths with so many talented and amazing people. Thank you for everything, and for all the memories we shared 💋💋

Junior Sous Chef at Eleven Madison Park, competitor in the 2026 S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy U.S. Competition, and a chef inspired by family, nature, and the stories ingredients carry with them.

From a childhood spent surrounded by banana, mango, and litchi trees on his family’s farm in India to kitchens across Europe and New York, Chef Amit’s cooking is rooted in one simple philosophy: respect where you come from while remaining open to everything you learn along the way.

Ten U.S. chefs. Ten signature dishes. One opportunity to represent the U.S. among the world’s most exciting emerging culinary talent.

Before one young American chef can cook for a global jury in Milan, 10 will have to face one another in New York on November 9. Selected from applicants under the age of 30, these super talented chefs will prepare their signature dishes during the U.S. Regional Final.

Working in restaurants from Manhattan to Nashville, each hoping to earn the right to represent the United States at the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Competition Grand Finale.
