Took Mr. ReadingWithDani to visit @theopenshelfbooks on their grand opening day! The store was adorable and has so much natural light and plenty of comfy seating. There were SO MANY books that I wanted to bring home, but alas my wallet did not let me live my dreams. I did bring home a beautiful special edition of The Enchanted Greenhouse, a cute medieval themed card that we’ll frame and hang in our office, and a very fun keychain!

If you haven’t visited yet, be sure to stop in and grab a book!

@theopenshelfbooks is officially open here in Mount Juliet!
📍13260 Lebanon Rd Ste A Mount Juliet, TN 37122

This is Mount Juliet’s first indie bookstore and we are so excited to have them! They stock new and used books as well as local authors.

They have a wonderful children’s section that would be perfect for story time with the little ones.

Make sure to check them out on @bookshop_org to support if you’re not in the Middle TN area!

Megan, I am so proud of you! I’m not sure how I would do this life without you. You are beautiful, strong, brave, and so kind! You have always supported me through every single one of my endeavors, and watching you walk into the next big part of our lives and opening The Open Shelf has filled me with so much joy. ♥️ you’ve worked so hard for so long, and while I know the real work has only just begun, I hope you stop and enjoy what you’ve built. (Sorry we never take pictures together. I’ll work on that.)

Ain’t nothin’ better than being married to your very best friend. ♥️ eres tú mi súperestrella
