Per Velum to Compete in Canadian Wacken Metal Battle !

Per Velum, a melodic power metal band with a mission to create the future of metal, is proud to announce their entry into the Canadian Wacken Metal Battle. They’re bringing something unique to the stage with their youngest member and primary songwriter @theowill2.0 —this year’s only underage contestant. At just 12 years old, this will be Theo’s second year entering.

Together, they’re redefining metal for the next generation.

With their dedication, raw talent, and skill, Per Velum is ready to make a bold statement in the competition. Stay tuned as they aim for a spot at Wacken Open Air!

Mother and son bonding over a dystopian doomsayer ballad 💀

Not to be paranoid, but we have to live awake in these times; aware of the government, industry & systemic spiders influencing us. 🕷️🕸️

Dissident Aggressor by Mom and Son

This is a priest song off the “Sin After Sin” album; super ground-breaking metal styles at that time(1977). This is about the Berlin Wall, but many other themes as well 🤘🏻💀

Calgary was a wild party on Friday long into the night!!! Debuting their first show @pervelum crushed their set, shredding their metal awesomeness and great stage presence!! @zerchronika played it's second show down in Calgary and was overjoyed to see so many familiar faces and reconnect with our YYC fam. @Fn'A also came down highway 2 and played their first show in Calgary and I gotta say they had such a .... Such a ... damn fine groove to their sound lol. @wherearethoseintentions closed out the show with an awesome 45min set, but then the crowd chanted for more and hot damn they delivered.

This was the second show I've ever booked and it's not what I expected to be doing, but I'm really enjoying the promoting side of this industry. Watching the connections happen around the bar over the night as three Edmonton bands mingle with their new Calgary family gave me such a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Oh and another Zerchronika date down in Calgary is already locked in so stay tuned. AND a super big thanks to our Calgary family for saving our asses with vlog footage. It's going to be better then it could have ever been 🤘😝🎸

Per Velum
… Latin for “Through the Veil”

This musical journey follows a character based on @theowill2.0 as he has visions and dreams through the veil of the future.

Per Velum will create a conceptual musical experience of multiple albums building off one another. The albums will span a timeline from the beginnings of mankind to the end of the universe and its aftermath.

TB to 2020
…When we were bored during quarantine, so I tried to learn piano and Theo- the recorder.

Together we concocted a cover so hard to listen to, that even the dog left the room. 😭💀🤘

I’ll properly learn piano & this song and have Theo do it on flutes this year 😹💀
