Some conversations ask for a table rather than a stage.

The world knows Sanna Marin (@sannamarin ) by her titles. Youngest prime minister in the world at thirty-four. A country through a pandemic and into NATO.

On Thursday morning she sat down with us in Lisbon, and we asked her the things you only ask someone when there is no audience.

Every answer found its way back to the same place. What a woman believes she is capable of.

We build these tables because the conversations that change a woman’s life rarely happen in public. Here is to more of them.

A Saturday morning spent first in stillness, then at a long table.

A gong bath in the forest, led by Liane, followed by a farm-to-table lunch under the trees. Two ways of being held by a place.

The kind of afternoon that recalibrates a whole week.

Some women arrive at SWS having spent a long time in places that asked them to shrink or perform.

What they describe, a few months in, is a kind of quiet belonging.
The feeling of existing, without editing.

Austin, my love 💛

This could be an open letter, but words are not enough to describe how happy I was there. I’m grateful for everything I have seen and lived, and above all, I’m grateful for the people I have met along the way.

What a time to be alive! ✨

Art and gastronomy have always been at the heart of what we do. This time, they met in the most intimate way - over dinner in an artist’s studio.

A candlelit evening inside Joana Mollet’s enchanting Art Nest, where chef Marta Ferreira brought autumn to the table with flavours inspired by the surrounding artworks.

It’s moments like this that make being part of Sassy Women Society truly special.

What a week!
Last week we had 35+ people on the team get together in Austin for our company off site.

The purpose of the off site is to:
1. Build relationships
2. Solve the company’s biggest problems
3. Capture big opportunities

Overall, it’s a big investment in developing our team.

“Build the people, and the people build the business.”

There’s so much training & learning that happens in these few days.

...and we dedicate an entire day to have “hack-a-thons” that help move the company forward.

The result = the team is in on fire!

Motivated.
Connected.
Aligned.

Now it’s time to go execute & break some records in Q4!

If you’re not doing company off sites in your company as you scale, you’re dumb.

It’s a big investment of time and money, but it’s worth it.

If you want a video breakdown on how I run our off sites, let me know & I’ll send it to you.

The future is bright.

Time to grow!

Many places in Portugal are losing its authenticity, Évora is not the case.

Our 3rd day of AlenteJourney was all about Évora, a city where the culture, tradition, nature, and slow living are at the core of what they are proud of and want to preserve.

That day I chose to stay at the hotel and have a slow morning of sun, writing, and nice reflecting conversations with Rossana, Chris & Averi ~ we had been moving around for 48hs with a packed agenda and we just needed some calm.

We learnt later that 2027 will be a year for Évora to be in the spotlight across Europe. For my surprise the concept they’ll focus us Cultural European City is: VAGAR ~ inviting everyone to reflect, slow down and embrace the present moment. Exactly like we did that morning when choosing to stop and stay instead of going to karting.

The slower pace is something that truly resonates with me since I have embraced it when moving from Buenos Aires to a small city in Portugal.

But as I always say… a slower pace in a remote area doesn’t need to also mean lack of dynamics or innovation.

And Évora is understanding that.

There’s history, art, culture, nature, past… and there’s also innovation, tech, development, future…

Thanks to @pact_alentejo for creating this trip, inviting us to learn more about what’s happening in Alentejo and opening the door to connect and exchange visions and ideas.

Looking forward to what comes next!
