POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🍽️ An IRL dinner party in a vintage furniture warehouse was the *only* way to celebrate the launch of our cabinetry hardware collection with @goodboneslondon 🪑

Joined by some of the sharpest eyes in the interior design world, we ate @restaurantmoro food, drank @emilewines and soaked up the inspirational setting provided by @aelfred_london.

A special night, with special people. More launch parties from here onwards, please 🙏

Leanne’s second collection is now live online.

I feel like the cat who got the cream. Life can be hard and cruel and I don’t know how I got so lucky to do what I love with wonderful people in wonderful places. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making my hardware collection with @plankhardware come alive in the most magical way. Lord knows I love a party and I’ll be basking in the glow of this one for a long time.

Looking for some framing inspiration? Interiors Director @phoebejmcd takes us inside her London home to show why framing isn’t just about expensive artwork - it’s about bringing memories, emotion and personality to your walls. From vintage Japanese matchboxes and family photographs to shells and flea-market finds, Phoebe shows how almost anything can become part of your walls. Last week brought two brilliant panels for @londondesignfestival, and we’re still buzzing 🥂

One panel took us to @shoreditchdesignweek with @coloursofarley for “Behind the Pattern,” a conversation on bespoke design in residential and commercial spaces. We talked about what bespoke really means - furniture made to fit a room, upholstery, pattern, colour, the things that carry story and sentiment rather than just practicality. And the trickier question - how do we find our own taste in a world of algorithmic sameness?

Thank you @louisatratalos for having us, to my fellow panelists @phoebejmcd @anyagc and everyone who came along!

Then to Mayfair Design District for “Can You Design Personality?”: exploring what makes a place unforgettable, and whether that elusive sense of atmosphere and character can really be designed. Sitting alongside Billy Mackay of @hollyhuntdesign and Kate Richards of @mo_mayfair , moderated by Anne-Laure Pingreoun-Lastro @mayfairdesigndistrict

Grateful to have been part of both ❤️

THE SUNDAY SCROLL! - The details that make a room memorable.

This week’s Sunday Scroll is all about the little things that make an interior sing - curved architecture, tongue and groove panelling, high gloss paint, clever built-in cabinetry and a perfectly collected gallery wall... how gorg!?
Proof that sometimes it’s not the big design decisions, but the details you can’t stop thinking about.

In the Journal: “Some would call it clutter but they would, of course, be wrong,” says Phoebe McDowell, (@phoebejmcd), an arbiter of all things stylish when it comes to the home and a matter-of-fact lover of stuff.

Alongside her day job as Interiors and Beauty Director of The Sunday Times Style, she also runs the popular interiors Instagram account The Pinterior (@thepinterior) and recently gave us a tour of her trinket-filled flat.
