Vampires. Punks. Lost Boys. Creeper can be many things to many people, having shape-shifted numerous times over the years before arriving at their epic Sanguivore era, which they spent last week touring across the UK with pals Calva Louise and Starbenders (and the Mistress Of Death). But who are the spooky kids that worship William Von Ghould and his bloodsucking gang? To find out, we headed to Creeper's headline show at Manchester Academy to meet the very well made up children of the night...

“The meaning to his music, the way he is, the way he respects his fans…”

This month, @yungblud has been tearing across the UK on a sold-out arena tour, bringing his ambitious amped-up blend of classic rock, punk, pop and much more besides to some of the biggest venues his homeland has to offer. And it somehow feels like he’s still in the ascendancy.

But who are the tens of thousands who turn out each night to witness Dominic Harrison deliver one of the most exhilarating live shows of the year? We took a trip to Manchester’s AO Arena to meet the Black Hearts Club and find out what they love most about YUNGBLUD’s music and why he proves such a divisive figure amongst rock fans.

On Friday night I had the incredible pleasure of going to @yungblud ‘s show in Leeds for @kerrangmagazine_ where me and @jingle1991 shot/wrote a review of the northern rocker. Supporting him were @thewarningrockband who were 🔥🔥🔥 and @themolotovs whom we also did a little backstage thing with (more on this next week, and thank you for being so lovely 🙏). I’m excited to take my Mum along to the Manchester show next week ✨ Thank you @expectation_mgmt ❤️ I love my silly job x

My edit of my pics from 2026’s @mcrpunkfest - pictures shot for @sxswlondon (thank you so much @ryanbassil ❤️ I love this festival so much. Pretty much every year I only know a handful of bands but discover so many absolute 🔥🔥🔥 acts both old and new. The punk scene is so warm and welcoming and silly and all the love to @tnsrecords for having me back to photograph yet again. I can’t wait for next year already x
