What began with the three of us, feeling deeply called to do something meaningful, has grown into a powerful community rooted in compassion, generosity, and aligned action.

In support of the @wingsforhopeproject__ “Gift of Movement campaign” our November event has raised €43,894.35 so far, already helping to fund prosthetic limbs for four children, along with rehabilitation and holistic support for children and young adults. These funds will continue to support further children & young adults.

Earlier this year, a further €11,700 was raised on our online “Breathe for Gaza “, bringing the total raised in 2025 to €55,594.35. 😭 !! We were deeply moved by the generosity of Irish businesses who supported the event with over €38,000 worth of raffle , prizes & gift bags.

Heartfelt thanks to @courtneysmithstyle our MC on the day, and to @niamhogradyryan and @charleneflanagan_ from @ellaandjo_ , @drmichellehone and @sarahke11y_ from @herologyhub and @sarahjanekeating from Valeo Foods for contributing 160 products, supplements, and treats for the gift bags. Thank you to @oldstreetdublin and their team with special thanks to @_elaineryan__ and to the singing waitresses that we hire to surprise everyone on the day. Huge thank you to Caroline @signarama_ireland for gifting the printing

We also wish to acknowledge all donations received since the event, with heartfelt thanks to John, Lisa’s brother and a very generous donor who wishes to remain anonymous.

Thank you to our friends who helped with ticket and raffle sales and to our families for their support over the past three months, especially our husbands @philcarrporto , @jasonkendellen @thomas_moran23 . Finally thank you to our daughters Lola, Jess and Alannah for their help on the day who reminded us why this work matters so deeply.

There is still time to donate and help us continue to Give the Gift of Movement this Christmas. Link in bio & stories.

The latest Wings for Hope newsletter is live, sharing the real impact your generosity is already making, including the stories of the children already receiving support.

Wishing you all a peaceful, gentle festive season, whatever & however you celebrate 🤍

A couple of weeks ago, I was truly honoured to be asked to MC the @wingsforhopeproject__ Ladies Lunch at @oldstreetdublin.

I’ve always used my platform to speak out about the atrocities happening in Gaza, so being able to lend my voice and time to this fundraiser felt deeply important and a real privilege. Thank you to @lauracarrcoaching, @thepractical.psychologist, and @lisakendellen for trusting me with this role.

Together, the event raised almost €38,000, an incredible achievement. But there is always more we can do. I’ve shared a QR code in the swipe across for anyone who feels called to donate.

It's Christmas... a time rooted in generosity and compassion, so it’s worth knowing that the Wings For Hope is a grassroots humanitarian organisation dedicated to providing advanced bionic prosthetics, orthotics, and specialised medical procedures for amputee victims in need of new limbs. Any donation small or large is appreciated.

Thank you, always, for your kindness and generosity 🤍
