On Saturday, October 11, 2025, I had the privilege of joining the climate change advocacy team, led by the remarkable Chief Mrs. Adenike Olumide-Emmanuel (Selah), a Forbes Africa Most Influential Woman. Together, we walked miles, cleaning streets, dumps, and gutters, setting a powerful example for our community. Spearheaded by the OPOLO ATI EWA foundation in partnership with the Lagos State government, this initiative showcased the impact of collective action in combating climate change. This experience strengthened my conviction that every action matters, and our combined efforts can drive significant positive change. Moving forward, it's crucial that we continue to educate, inspire, and take deliberate action to protect our planet. I'm honored to be part of this movement and look forward to continuing the fight against climate change.

I have waited long enough to tell my story. And finally, after defending my project and finally signing out of the Lagos State University, I feel motivated to share the trajectory of my life from being a secondary school student down to being a graduate. Everything has been by God all along. God. God. And God again. This is me saying that I haven't gotten to where I want to be yet at all, but I'm at least grateful for the places I have passed through. Congratulations, The Saheed Sunday.💫❤️

And it’s a wrap 🤩 I’m deeply grateful to God for the covenant of Effortless Ease and Amplified Efforts throughout this journey. The grace I experienced… God is truly good 😭❤️. One of the resolves I made before entering the university was to express the fullness of God’s nature in my life by being multifaceted, not limiting myself to academics alone but living a life of impact in every sphere. Throughout my undergraduate years, I: • Volunteered at over 100 engagements • Spoke and performed poetry on 100+ stages • Led multiple teams and initiatives • Coached, guided, and influenced over 1,000 students academically, in faith, and in social impact • Organised and executed several high-level campus events • Founded a social impact organisation and a finance brand while building my personal brand as THATPOET • Built my network, had fun, and forged lifelong friendships • Grew spiritually and deepened my relationship with God • Loved, learned, healed, and grew from experiences • Acquired high-value and soft skills for life • Earned a fully funded international opportunity with UNICEF and the UN to take my peace work to a global policy-shaping platform • And through it all, I maintained excellent grades The scripture I held onto before stepping into school was Daniel 6:3. Truly, I chose to live Christ, and I chose excellence. Thank you, Jesus. On to the next phase, THATPOET will shake the world.
