COULD YOU BE PART OF IT? Our next ARE YOU ALRIGHT MATE? workshop is happening this Friday in Paignton and we still have spaces available.

We’re looking for men to share their experiences, have a one-to-one conversation with our team and help create the stories behind a new railway station art installation, with support from Great Western Railway.

📍 Paignton — Friday 9 October
⏰ 10.30am–5pm
📍 People’s Parkfield Community Hub

You don’t need to be good at talking about mental health. You just need to be willing to have a conversation.

Know a man who might be up for it? Tag him or share this post.

👉 Book your place via the link in our bio.

Are you alright mate?

Coming up this Saturday 10th, the return of live punk to Things Happen Here and it’s an ALL AGES SHOW!!!!

The brilliant Toast played a support slot at THH last year and blew us away-seems like we weren’t the only ones as the band are on the rise, on their first headline UK tour and back at THH. Expect melodic, exhilarating punk rock FFO Lambrini Girls, L7, The Distillers, Marmozets.

Support is from Pitfeeders (think Royal Blood meets the White Stripes) and up and coming TQ9 alt band Drawer Full O’Lemons.

This is going to be a great night. Under 16s accompanied by an adult. Free to THH Gig Club members. Get tickets from the link in our bio.

What a special celebration Music for the Harvest Moon with @duo_tutti at @nixpriory was 🍂🌕

Sarah created new artwork especially for the concert, and piano and flute fused beautifully in the stunning great hall of Exeter's oldest building.

Thank you @benjamin_akira_tallamy for the excellent photos!

Keep your eyes peeled for the next in the Music for the Moon series - ticket link is in our bio.

Sarah's Harvest collection is available to purchase via the Lightbear Lane website.

DETOUR REVIEW! Massive thanks to The PRSD @theprsd for their amazing write up of ‘On The Road’. LINK IN BIO

“Delicate and sharp, On The Road from Exeter sextet Detour is incisive, laid back, stripped back and painful. Like a paper cut. Or a thousand paper cuts.”

Are you alright, mate? It’s a simple question. But sometimes it can be the start of a conversation that really matters.

We’re excited to be launching Are You Alright Mate? - a new project creating space for local men to talk, connect, share experiences and have honest conversations about men’s mental health and suicide.

We’re really pleased that @theprsd has shared the story behind the project.

Have a read 👇
And if you know a man who might want to be part of it, please share this post with him.

One question. A heap of conversations. And hopefully, a few more reasons to keep talking.
