On a beautiful sunny Sunday morning, my “assistant” (AKA hubby😂) and I got to fit these pretty blinds (@thepureedit ). For me, I got to visit my lovely customer’s new home, for my husband, he got to spend a morning with me and…….. get ALL his tools out, yep he loves me and his @dewalttoolsuk 😂. I want the rooms in this Cornwall holiday home to feel connected, but each to have its own personality.

Following our initial consultation and site visit, the schemes are taking shape. Bringing in colour and pattern, considering how the rooms flow together, and choosing fabrics that will cope with family holidays.

There’s a balance with the budget too—deciding where to spend a little more and where a simpler choice will work just as well.

Next up, bringing it all together with paint. I can’t wait to show you.

Final fabrics chosen for all the rooms.

✨ Beautifully dressed windows, installed today! ✨

Real-world installation. AI-assisted light filtering in the photograph. The work exists beyond the frame.

A gorgeous finishing touch to this cosy, neutral bedroom 🤍

Designed for our lovely client, these made-to-measure curtains and privacy blinds bring together soft textures, timeless elegance and everyday practicality.

🪡 The curtains
hand-finished, double pinch pleat curtains in Pascal – Alabaster, a beautiful printed cotton fabric by @thepureedit

🤍 The privacy blinds
Paired with sheer privacy roller blinds from @blinds2go in Solana – Parchment, allowing soft, natural daylight to filter through while providing that extra layer of privacy.

The combination of warm alabaster tones, elegant pleats and soft filtered light creates a calm, luxurious feel that makes this bedroom a beautiful place to unwind.

Another lovely transformation, designed and installed with care. ✨

A gorgeous front porch, brought together with beautiful fabrics and thoughtful finishing details.

A bespoke self-piped box cushion in a lovely green fabric from The Pure Edit, paired with two feather-filled scatter cushions finished with contrasting green piping.

The scatter cushion fabric continues through to the interlined Roman blind, which sits outside the window with returns to neatly conceal the headrail.

I love how the green detailing carries through each piece, tying the whole scheme together.
