蔚山の小さな韓屋から、東京へ。

今回のプロジェクトは、駐日韓国文化院からいただいた共同企画の提案をきっかけに始まりました。

その原点は、蔚山にある小さな韓屋。

一人の作家を招き、レジデンスや展示を重ねながら、自分たちの手で少しずつ国際的なつながりを築いてきました。

そして4年後。
その小さな活動が、東京での公式共同企画へとつながります。

2026年11月、駐日韓国文化院とVilla Oasis Collectiveの共同企画として、韓国と日本をはじめ、国内外から約30名のアーティストが集結します。

国際的に活躍する著名アーティストから、これからの活躍が期待される新進気鋭のアーティストまで。

日本でも、これほど多彩なアーティストが一堂に会する機会は、なかなかないのではないでしょうか。

世代や国境、そして工芸と現代美術の境界を超え、多様な表現に一度に出会える特別な展覧会です。

Reminiscing on floral imaginations created with @charlotte.l.moore earlier this year, now that the leaves are changing colour. We had the pleasure of showing our collaborative sculptures in a solo show Flora in Alloy with @qloud.co back in May, and gave a little artist talk as part of the event.

Thank you to everyone who joined, it was such a lovely time and happy to be able to share these works in London 🌷🌷🌷

Flora in Alloy experiments with the mixing of metal and ceramic, building fantastical floral hybridisations inspired by old botanical drawings and writing by Mercè Rodoreda on Flowers. We worked by playing a sort of exquisite corpse game with the sculptures, moving between metal and ceramic adding new details in the process. I love the magnificent world we created in the end, truly an alloy of elements.

That’s a wrap on London Design Festival 2026 ☑️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring London to life over the nine days, filling the capital with a creative buzz. It simply wouldn’t happen without our supporters, sponsors, partners, friends and festival attendees.

From exhibitions and workshops to talks, launches, pop-ups and everything in between, our Partners and Design Districts transformed neighbourhoods, streets and spaces across the city for our 24th edition, celebrating all things design.

350+ events. 300+ Partners. 11 Design Districts.

We also celebrated the 2026 Medal winners and hosted the Global Design Forum, a curated thought leadership programme exploring design and the minds shaping its future.

Now our attention turns to 2027 and our 25th anniversary. 🎉

✨A fragment from my Artist Talk at Enchanted Matter, London Design Festival.✨

❓How can we slow down in an increasingly digital world❓

My practice explores the human hand gesture, repetition and presence and how drawing can move beyond the flat surface into space. Through recycled materials, I’m also interested in the boundaries between painting, sculpture and textile, and in questions of ecology and transformation.

CHIASM - SHARED THRESHOLD [Two-Body Ring]
The Two-Body Ring embodies a physical and energetic bridge, exploring intimacy through co-somatic resonance. Suspending a double-sided palm imprint between two hands, its black surface represents individual isolation. With mutual contact, the surface turns gold through combined body heat: an invitation to a shared gesture, where touch becomes a temporary state of entanglement between bodies, matter and sensation. 🙌

The work is part of the STRUCTURAL INTIMACY: SOMATIC EXCHANGE project, which was nominated for the Graham Hughes Award and the Chris Massey Award 2026 at @royalcollegeofart

London Design Festival. Galleries (and one restaurant). @charlesburnand curation is always pitch perfect and loved the use of veils, disguising and revealing. @gallery_fumi presented After School, a collaboration with RCA. Loved @qloud.co exhibition Enchanted Matter: On Resonant Objects and the life of Materials(especially the glass snails) and also got a sneak peak at Royal Society of Sculptors new exhibition There’s No Place Like Home(from 19/09). Finally, for colour enthusiasts, Sketch’s installation by @camillewalala should definitely be on your list.

A wonderful opening night for Enchanted Matter on 11 September✨beautifully bringing the worlds of art and music together.
