Game night with the ladies. 💃🏽 singing to the 90’s and silliness. Thanks for hosting Stephanie.

47 - Best birthday week ever! Huge thank you to @therangels for her support and desire for me to focus on enjoying this birthday 🫶 It's been quite the 3+ year journey for me here in #costarica having spent my first birthday here alone on a remote beach wondering what I was doing here. Now, to have so many amazing people coming out with so much love is just amazing to me. Te amo chicos! Sigue bailando! 🕺

Yesterday marked the 1 year anniversary of my mother’s death. I have full of emotions the past few days. I took off work yesterday and did things my mother loved like go to the beach, wiggle my toes in the sand, listen to music, dip my feet in the water, eat nachos and watch the sunset.
I feel like I have lived 9 lifetimes in the 365 days that have passed since I last held my mother’s hand. In her final days she told me “when I go you go to, leave this country and go travel, don’t get married again and make sure you and your sisters check on each other.”
There were many times I didn’t listen to my mother but I promised I would do those things and I have!
Thank you to my sisters for also checking on me yesterday (and always) and the silence is deafening from some who did not but I’ll focus on the love.
Huge shoutout to @therangels and @nomadicsteveb for spending the day with me and showing me 2 new locations in Guanacaste!
Momma lives here with me and I could feel her yesterday.
