“We used to be fun... what happened? 😅👶”

Becoming parents changes everything... especially your relationship.
This week, Jilly is joined by @emilyfayemiller & @camholmess (yes, the Too Hot to Handle success story ❤️🔥) and fan-favourite psychotherapist Jerilee Claydon to talk honestly about how becoming parents changes your relationship.

We get into:
👶 How your relationship changes after having a baby
🤝 Sharing the mental load (and the actual load!)
😴 Communicating when you’re running on empty
️❤ Navigating resentment, romance & reconnecting
💬 The honest conversations no one prepares you for

If you’ve ever thought, “We used to be fun,” this one’s for you.

Dear Devizes,

We’ve got something to tell you…

You’re about to get your very own
Regency-style club…

And yes — it swears.
And serves cocktails.
And makes you feel like the absolute main character the moment you walk through the door.

Welcome to The Dressing House.

This isn’t just a shop.
It’s not just a café.
It’s not just a place to get ready.

It’s a place you come to feel different.

You’ll walk in through a fairy-lit entrance, head up a candlelit staircase, & suddenly find yourself somewhere between Bridgerton & a very well-dressed slightly un-hinged dream.

Inside, you’ll find rooms you won’t want to leave:
– rails of beautiful, pre-loved, one-of-a-kind & Vintage pieces
– spaces to try things on, properly
– mirrors that make you stop and go… oh hello!
– cocktails, coffee, cake
– and corners made for celebrating, planning, escaping or just being

And here’s the clever bit…

You don’t just buy clothes here.

You can:
✨ Buy it
✨ Wear it
✨ Bring it back for credit
✨ Swap it for something new
✨ Repeat as many times as you like

No more “worn once & forgotten.”
No more panic-buying for events.
Just a wardrobe that evolves with you — sustainably, beautifully, & without the guilt.

Come on your own.
Come with a friend.
Come as a full-blown group.

You can book:
– styling sessions (just you, or all eyes on you)
– hen parties, birthdays, “we just needed a day” days
– full experience packages with workshops, cocktails, grazing boards & chaos.
– or just wander in for a drink & see where it takes you

We’ll also be hosting everything from styling workshops to life drawing, tablescaping to florals — & yes, possibly the odd butler in a buff situation (you’re welcome).

And if you’ve got a space that needs a bit of magic — your home, your Airbnb, your wedding venue — we do that too, sustainably wherever possible.

The Dressing House is here to bring something different to Devizes:
something social, something creative, something a bit unexpected.

A place where:
– you stay longer than you planned
– you try things you wouldn’t normally
– you leave feeling just a little bit more like yourself

Devizes — this is yours. We’ll see you inside

Opening soon.

I’ve discovered this gem in Marylebone! 🌱

Had the most amazing early dinner at @thevegboxcafe with my good friend Jeri @therapyproject

I’m already planning my next visit. The food here is fresh & absolutely delicious – and here’s what I love: you can choose your food according to your mood . Want to indulge or if you want something clean and nourishing, they excel at both. Either way, the flavours are bursting.

Their drinks menu is just as impressive – creative cocktails, wine, and the freshest juices and smoothies. And don’t even get me started on the desserts…

The prices are fantastic for the quality you’re getting.

If you’re ever near Marylebone & looking for somewhere that ticks all the boxes (pun intended! 😄), this is it.

BTW, I’m not a New Year Resolution girl,
I’m an every day Resolution girl.

I live every day intentionally with the resolution to do things a little better than the day before.

There are 3 areas of my life I’d love to be more brilliant in…

👇👇👇

1. I want to become brilliant at resting.
Really resting.
Not guilty resting.
Resting before I break myself!
😇

2. I want to become more empathetic.
Starting by
turning my I’s into We’s
and learning to put the needs of others to the forefront of my awareness! 😅 ( this is a technique taught to me by @tigertigerhealing during our ‘How to be less of a Narcissist Classes’!
I’ve been in survival mode for so many years there’s a lot of unlearning to do. 💛

3. And I want to become more brilliant at teaching others to see the good in themselves and others. 👀

What do you want to become
more Brilliant at in 2025?

Please share your top 3 ?👇💛

The festive season, with its sparkling lights and cosy gatherings, is traditionally celebrated as a time of giving, but balancing family obligations, seasonal traditions, and the many social demands that arise can easily lead to burnout.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
@therapyproject The “traffic light system” is a practical and compassionate approach to recognising and managing burnout before it takes a toll.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
By learning to notice the early warning signs within ourselves, we’re better equipped to care not only for our loved ones but also for our own wellbeing. This isn’t about becoming self-centred; it’s about nurturing ourselves so we can continue to nurture others effectively and joyfully.

Head over to stories for some tips on avoiding burnout and remaining balanced this holiday.

It was an absolute pleasure having Jerilee work with us on the Squeezy Maternity programme to provide women with mental wellbeing and relationship content. The changes experienced through pregnancy and the postnatal period are significant and we wanted to provide women with credible, curated content that touched so many parts of that journey. Mental wellbeing is just as important and physical wellbeing which is why the maternity programme has content to support it.
