“Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” — Hebrews 11:1
—
It takes FAITH to lead toward a future you cannot yet see. It takes FAITH to go where others are unwilling to go. And it takes FAITH to challenge what is, change the course of history, and ultimately change the world.

Happy Fall Convocation, Barber-Scotia College. In the beginning, there was faith. And even now, there is STILL faith.

We didn’t go to Washington, D.C. simply to be in the room. We went to make sure our voices were heard because advocacy is part of our legacy. 💙🤍

From the Five Pearls who founded our sisterhood at Howard University to the women who stood on Capitol Hill for Zeta Day on the Hill, we carry a tradition of service that demands more than observation; it demands participation, especially on behalf of those who have been silenced in our communities.

We were prepared to speak up, listen, learn, and advocate.

We met with elected officials, shared the concerns impacting our communities, and made sure the issues that matter to us were part of the conversation. Because being community-conscious means more than knowing what’s happening; it means showing up and being action oriented.

This is what it means to #GetEngaged. This is Zeta in action.💙🤍
