**Long Post, but worth the read**

Sometimes you don’t realize how far you’ve come until you look back at where you started. This is what nine months of consistent walking and improving my food choices created.

I looked at these two pictures and could see the difference, especially in my face. But what the picture doesn’t show are the days I didn’t feel like moving. The days motivation wasn’t there. The days when it would have been easier to make an excuse.

That’s where discipline comes in.

Motivation will get you started. Discipline keeps you going. Faith reminds you why you shouldn’t quit.

The Bible says:

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

That applies to more than our spiritual lives. Sometimes the harvest is on the other side of simply refusing to quit.

If you’re waiting for the perfect day to start, START TODAY.

Take the walk. Get your steps in. Make the better choice. Drink the water. Do something today that your future self will thank you for.

And if you’ve already started but you’re frustrated because you don’t see the results yet, KEEP MOVING.

Every step counts. Every day matters. Every disciplined decision is building something.

You may not see the change today, but one day you’ll look at an old picture and realize:

The work was working the whole time.

Don’t quit because the results are taking longer than you expected. God never promised the harvest would come overnight. He reminded us not to grow weary before it comes.

Stay disciplined. Stay consistent. Keep the faith. KEEP MOVING.

49. Grateful. Reflective. Ready.

Today, I’m not just celebrating another birthday—I’m honoring the journey.

At 49, I’ve learned that every season has a purpose. Some chapters are meant to be celebrated, some are meant to teach us, and some simply have to be closed so we can become who we’re called to be next.

I’m grateful for the victories, but equally grateful for the lessons. I’ve learned to protect my peace, value genuine relationships, embrace change, and understand that sometimes letting go is just as important as holding on.

As I begin this next chapter, I’m carrying the wisdom of yesterday without allowing yesterday to define tomorrow.

There is still more life to live, more purpose to fulfill, more love to give, and more impact to make.

Chapter 49 begins today—and I believe some of the best pages have yet to be written.
