To my eternal shame, some plushiemail from last Christmas remained almost lost… They arrived between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, when I was in Napoli. And, yes, since then they remained unacknowledged for almost a year… 💌💌💌

My Master, scarred and deformed after his terrible car accident, gave them to Fennec, who is in charge of correspondence. Fennec, absent proper supervision, did this embarrassing mess 😡
Now, plushies, this is not an excuse, not by far. There is no excuse. Just my most sincere apologies.

And now, without further ado, here are the items from my Hall of Shame.

Damn...in a few days we will celebrate our 1st year of freaky friendship...found in this tangled IG universe...and when I think about how much time we have spent together in the last 365 days 250 kilometers away, it feels like we have already sat together in the sandbox...yeah damn...so incredibly warm and familiar!

Dear friends,

lets move on to our next destination, shall we?
We left Nara (first 3 pic) and drove to the Fuji area. Unfortunately we did not have good weather on our one and only full day at Mt. Fuji, so on that very day we did not really see it at all 🙈 we just called her shy lady as always hiding LOL 😅 so in case you want to see Mt. Fuji, plan more days in this area!

As we had no view, we decided to visit a historical village, Oshino Hakkai, with nice traditional buildings and gardens (pic 4-6).
Then we headed to Arakurayama Sengen Park, a very famous Japanese tourist destination in spring due to the picturesque view including Mt. Fuji and a five-storied pagoda Chureito, surrounded by more than 650 Yoshino cherry trees in full bloom. Even though we could not see Mt. Fuji on that very day, it was still very beautiful (Pic 7-9). BTW you can see in my very first Japan post from 20th April a video of me walking here between the cherry trees.
The last pic showing the view from my hotel on mount Fuji on this day. Stay tuned for the same view on the next day! 😉

long time no hear... sorry for that, I still try to get hooman woman back on track to be able to see your adventures... I have hope it will get better 😉

Today I am lucky and can show you the next step of my Japan trip. OMG it was so long time ago... 🙈

So let me show you today the area of Nikko National Park. Here you find a unique view of Lake Chuzenji in combination with Kegon Waterfall (pic 1-6), the only exit for the waters of Chuzenji Lake. Looks like this lake is living on the second floor, isn't it? 😅 An incredible natural spectacle! 😍

Another unique place in Nikko is Toshogu Shrine (Pic 7-10). This lavishly decorated shrine is unqiue in Japan as it includes both Shinto and Buddhist elements.
In the Meiji Period when Shinto was separated from Buddhism, normally the elements of 1 religion were removed, but at Toshogu the two religions were so intermingled that the separation was not carried out completely. I could spend days to watch all the details 🤩
