She interned with and later mentored for the Martin Luther King Sister Circle, contributing to the growth of young women. She also mentored youth through the College for Kids program. Journey held leadership roles in Black Is Gold as President and Vice President and is a member of the Illustrious Iota Sigma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. After graduation, Journey plans to attend Graduate School obtaining her Master’s Degree in Social Work, later receiving her doctorate degree in Social Work. She plans to own her own therapy practice in social work for marriage and family therapy.

Journey has worked incredibly hard to reach this milestone, and we’re excited to see how her path unfolds as she continues to accomplish great things!
