Came for everything I deserved, now I’m leaving with my degree and pearls.. 🪞

To the Illustrious Iota Sigma Chapter, thank you for welcoming me into a sisterhood to flourish for the rest of my life. Little Me, would be so proud to know my dreams came true! To Sacred Sovereignty, My line Sisters, I am forever grateful for the bonds we’ve made and the memories that’ll last a lifetime.

Yours Truly,
Cutting 3dge 🩷💚

Thanking God for bringing me to a University that may not seem fit for many but fulfilled my dreams of a College Life. 4 years ago, I walked on campus not fully understanding all I had to offer. I’m exiting the University Of Kentucky knowing ALL of who I am, and will forever proudly embody every bit of it. Attending a predominantly white institution was never easy but allowed this black woman to take up space in any room she entered, advocate for myself and others, speak boldly for everything deserving of me. All the lessons learned, memories made, and sacrifices taken have prepared me for the Journey to come. Trust In the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understandings.
