Big ol’ thanks to everyone who turned up for the @fawnskinmusicfestival music festival and spent a little time on the mountain with us last night, and to @jakeabernathie for sitting in on keys! We had a grand time and hope to see our pals at the Moose Lodge again real soon. #gratefuldead #jamband #bigbear

I needed to do a lens test and my buddy @thereallukejames_ had a cool country western song he recorded a while back, so we made a music video. I’ve been buying up and working on some vintage lenses for cinematography, so we set out with those, a guitar, and an old truck in Joshua Tree. Luke’s neighbor, Dennis Procopio (@manuplifecoaching), was so gracious to let us borrow the truck and also offered to be our stunt driver for the afternoon. We got thrown all around trying to find the good light angles and the rattling of the truck undid every single fastening nut, bolt, screw, and rosette on my camera, but we had fun!

Shot this on Minolta Rokkor MC IIIs still lenses from the mid 70s that I cinemodded.

🎶 Help Tumbleweed Timemachine Make Our New Record! 🎶
We’re cooking up a full-length album straight from the heart of Joshua Tree — songs about horses, high desert winds, and wild souls like you.

We’ve started a GoFundMe to help make it happen, and we’d be so grateful for your support — whether it’s a donation, a share, or a kind word.

Let’s bring this desert dream to life.
