POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The first time I ever saw my teacher and mentor @yogi_ram do a revolving wheel, I thought I would never be able to do it.

It literally took hundreds of hours of gentle hip openers, shoulder stretches, back exercises, and all of the basic work required to build a solid foundation before I finally surprised myself.

What once felt impossible suddenly became effortless—but only because of the progressions I took to get there.

Everyone wants to do the party tricks, but no one wants to do the preliminary work it takes to build the foundation that supports them.

There are no shortcuts.

Skipping the fundamentals only increases your risk of injury and can set you back further than if you had taken the time to intentionally build your foundation and move through the progressions.

Big shoutout to Yoga Rob for introducing me to sequencing and principles that will stick with me for a lifetime. 🙏

Build the foundation. Trust the progression. Then surprise yourself. 💫

For anyone looking for guidance and support in their fitness journey, I offer personal training, group fitness, and both group and private yoga sessions.

Grief doesn’t mean they’re gone from our lives.

We carry them with us.

In the way we love.
In the lessons they taught us.
In the words we use.
In the choices we make.
In the pieces of them that became pieces of us.

That’s Soul Inheritance.

In this conversation, @theprincesspoetess speaks to the experience of facing grief—not by running from it, but by allowing ourselves to feel it, move through it, and recognize what remains.

Because when we lose someone we love, the relationship doesn’t simply disappear. It changes form.

Their influence continues through our life experience. Their love becomes part of how we love. Their wisdom shows up in moments when we need it most. Their memory finds its way into who we are becoming.

And as we continue to live, they still get to experience life through us.

Through the places we go.
The love we give.
The music we hear.
The beauty we witness.
The life we continue to live.

Maybe healing isn’t about leaving them behind.

Maybe it’s learning how to carry them forward. ✨

Poetry has a way of putting words to feelings we thought we were alone in.

For @theprincesspoetess, that expression creates connection. Sharing her voice. Finding her tribe. Creating space for others to feel seen, heard, and free to express themselves.

In this conversation, Kaileia shares how poetry moves beyond the page and into the relationships and community that give it life.

Find your words. Share your voice. Find your people. ✨

I’m not big on birthday celebrations for myself. I get over-analytical and hyper-critical of my life most years. This year was different. This year, it was all about gratitude. I celebrated 42 laps around the sun with movement, connection, and gratitude. I’m grateful for my mind and body and the connection between the two. I’m grateful for my incredible son who teaches me things about myself and my relationship with the world every day. I’m grateful for all of my incredible friends and family who love me and show up for me regardless of where I’m at energetically. This life is such a beautiful blessing. I’m so grateful for all of it. Thank you to every single Soul that I ever encountered along this incredible journey. Thank you for the lessons, the Blessings, and the presence. Big shout out to my brother from another Clayton Mayo for capturing these incredible moments on camera.

There are things we carry that were never meant to come with us.

Old versions of ourselves. Old wounds. Old expectations. Pieces of ourselves we’ve sacrificed trying to love, survive, belong, or become.

In her powerful poem “Purge,” @theprincesspoetess draws a line in the sand.

It’s a promise to herself to release what pulls her out of alignment, remain rooted in her purpose, and never abandon herself in the process.

Because in her words:

“Self-abandonment is death.”

This is just one of the powerful moments from my conversation with The Princess Poetess, Kaileia Étaín Melusine Suvannamaccha.
