August highlights: food, friends, a belated birthday getaway and plenty of good times 🥰

1-3. A belated birthday stay at Dylan Coastal Resort in Laugharne with some of my nearest and dearest. Thanks for a wonderful time all, and @milkwoodhouseatdylancoastalrst! Blog post and reel to follow.

4. Back to @poon.streetfood in Laugharne for the tom yum prawn soup and the king prawns with chilli, garlic and basil I loved last time. The monkfish curry looked pretty tempting too!

5. Crispy fried chicken with rice and peas from @therealting_ for Jamaica Day at @tigeryardcardiff. Simba wanted a taste, but I wasn’t sharing. 😂

6. Disco Fries and Frankie rolls at @keralankaravan’s new home at @ontheriver.wales.

7. Watching the solar eclipse from a friend’s rooftop, with good food and even better company.

8. Welsh cheese and wine tasting at @welshcheeseco in Victoria Park. Reel coming next week. 🧀🍷

9. Judging @thegreatbritishcurryfestival at @loloungeuk. Congratulations to Judges’ Choice winners @keralankaravan! 🏆

10. The Battenberg cake of my dreams at @cardiffgardencentre after treating myself to another @david_austin_roses. My first visit to St Mellons Garden Centre @bluediamond.homeandgarden - I’ll definitely be back!

11. New glasses 🤓 I couldn’t choose, so I bought two pairs. These were the favourites when I put it to a Stories vote.

12. Hosting friends for dinner: chilli halloumi kebabs, arancini and bacon-wrapped chipolatas to start, followed by lasagne and homemade chocolate mousse (thanks @pip.purcell!)

13. An epic seafood boil at @therockandscallop at @newport.market. Reel coming next week! 🦀

What have you been up to this month, and how has August been treating you? 👀
