We are buzzing to announce our latest guest kitchen! @therealting_ is taking over Tiger Yard for the next three weeks, starting this week!

This is the family-run kitchen that cooks up authentic Jamaican food people travel for. There are absolutely no shortcuts here—just incredible, authentic recipes with a unique twist on old-school classics.

Everything is made fresh daily, cooked one pot at a time. Because they don't take shortcuts, their rotating mains are strictly subject to availability—once a batch is gone for the day, it's gone!

Cardiff Market has its first ever Jamaican street food stall 🇯🇲

@therealting_ Ting serves authentic Jamaican street food dishes from the Portland. After starting a pop-up during Lockfown, Albert and his wife Lauren have now moved into Cardiff Market.

The menu features a selection of dishes from his hometown of Portland, which includes classics such as hearty lunch bowls, like the Portland bowl which consists of curry chicken with rice, peas, and dumplings, Ackee Bowls, fried chicken bowl and plantain.

If you're looking for a lunch spot that is flavourfull, comforting, with real Caribbean hospitality, then you might want to check this out.

The Real Ting will be open from Tuesdays to Saturdays in Cardiff Market Opposite Bearded Taco on the ground floor. by @therealting_
